So this is a bug that is has been here for a while. I don't know if i'm the only one, but i have it and i'm reporting it.

So a while back maybe years i added Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box to my steam wishlist and i wanted to win it, but eventually i just lost interest and i removed it from my wishlist, but for some reason no matter how many times i try to sync with Steam the game is still showing in the wishlist section. I don't know if this is just a moments problem, but i have synced added and removed games from my Steam wishlist and the game continues to be there always.

Not adressing the underlying problem, but have you tried to hide the game on Steamgifts?

Yeah, but if this is a sitewide bug i think its better to be addressed so i will not hide it until the bug is fixed. And if it isn't fixed then i will just ignore it.

Sometimes games can become delisted/removed from steam store, but they remain (hidden) on your wishlist.

According to this website (Export > Unlisted), here are the delisted appids on your WL, along with the corresponding names pulled from SteamDB:

  • 24740 = Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box
  • 224060 = Deadpool
  • 234630 = Project CARS
  • 378860 = Project CARS 2
  • 379150 = Just Cause Franchise Advertising App
  • 421020 = DiRT 4
  • 430910 = DOOM Franchise
  • 457161 = Rocket League: Official Game Soundtrack, Vol. 2
  • 457193 = Rocket League X Monstercat Vol. 1
  • 823220 = Rocket League X Monstercat Vol. 2
  • 848820 = Rocket League X Monstercat Vol. 3
  • 919100 = Rocket League x Monstercat Vol. 4
  • 971930 = Rocket League x Monstercat Vol. 5
  • 1097150 = Fall Guys

The solution is to go to your wishlist in your web browser, open the browser console, and run some calls to have those appid's removed manually:

$J.post('//store.steampowered.com/api/removefromwishlist', {sessionid: g_sessionID, appid: 24740});

You can do them one-by-one, replacing the appid each time with the correct number.

I assume that requires to install the SteamDB browser extension?

Maybe but I registered that it isn't a working solution for every delisted content so I deleted my reply.
