How are you celebrating Humble Indie Bundle's 10 year anniversary?

View Results
[T1] Call the bundle Hotline, T1 is a great deal!
[BTA] Let's shed some Moonlight on these games, shall we?
[T3] Such a purchase should be Outlawed, but I won't resist missing out on these titles.
[Have] These games have been gathering Dust in my library for decades...
[Skip] If only I knew that Gato Roboto would be included in a Humble Bundle, I wouldn't have spent my time making 10 Alienware accounts to loot those keys...

I guess tier 1 isn't bad if you don't have the games. And gato roboto was free like a week ago. They're not even trying.

Most likely to be hyper light drifter. Not sure how killer it is for you ML.

T1 is testing my no-more-buying-games (with exceptions) rule since I want 2 of 3 of the games. It's more of a backlog issue than a financial issue. Going to hope for luck in the giveaways instead.

Gato was free and here it's in BTA tier, what a joke. If only at least Moonlighter was in first tier I'd buy it, but this way it's a hard pass.

Hypnospace looks rather cool, in a WTF kind of way. Imma wishlist it keep an eye on that thing, as I wouldn't grab T3 for that one game alone.

Beat Cop why is it 0CV, was it free i don't remember?

Comment has been collapsed.

Weird, don't remember it either, and can't find any info on it having been free on IsThereAnyDeal. But it is currently on SG's "previously free" list, indeed.

May have been one of the titles at a Free Mystery Giveaway (like the ones GMG and Fanatical sometimes make on major holidays).

Mystery Giveaways typically get reduced to Bundled, not Free, as "Free" status [according to the standards when Shobo was bundler, which may have changed given that other staff manage the lists] requires the opportunity for exploitation/issue (which usually means a reliable chance at getting multiple copies, or thousands of copies being given away).

Meanwhile, anything with mild potential for exploitation (due to restrictions limiting abuse)- say, Chrono freebies, Alienware high level giveaways, etc- historically has been Bundle Listed instead, unless clear signs of exploitation are evidenced. High enough discount reductions are rounded down to free status, while freebies added to purchases factor into the purchase itself, much like bundle games do into a bundle tier.

So, while it's possible staff has changed standards on that, it's not what I'd take as an intuitive explanation for the matter. Moreover, the closest mystery bundle I could find via a quick Google search was dated Nov 8th, while the list addition is dated Novermber 1st. πŸ€”

It was free on GMG last year I believe.

They did a free game giveaway with a bunch of games you could choose from.

I really would like to own hyperspace, but that price is too expensive for all the repeats I already own.

Mostly about the fact I dislike pixel-art games, yes. That art style triggers a migraine. :( Which is a shame, because some of the best stories are in these kinds of games. I may have grown up playing DOS games, but nostalgia isn't enough of a band-aid, I'm afraid.

That and my backlog is getting too big to add games I won't play anyway. xD

Meh. If the T3 was something like 10€ I'd consider it. As it is, I'm basically getting those two games at 50% discount, which is okay I guess, but not that spectacular...

if you're interested in Starbound, it's probably more ethical to grey market/pirate imo

Sad story, even sadder that it's not the only one that has "contributors" not getting paid or commission or bonus or various harassment allegations. I mean, it's not only the gaming industry; there are shady people who take advantage of others everywhere but still.

Good to know not to ever support this "company". Maybe the "ignore publisher" on Steam publisher page.
