This reminds me of a previous thread containing this Modern Warfare 3 Sells on Ebay for $1725 and Again Afterwards for Over $9000 . Maybe this is stupid, but the point is, it is not always about the price.

I preordered BNW because I make more money than you.

People can spend there money on whatever they want. If your hyped about a game. (I'm hyped about Pokemon X and Y in october) then you'll likely pre-order it. Some people are more patient and others aren't.

If you think you are so smart.. why can't you own something so big like steam itself? :D

It was released on the 8th in America; far longer than half a day. And I pre-order things because I think I would like it, or if I feel the benefits outweigh the cost such in the case of my Bioshock Inf preorder.
