I play in Australia and there are local servers but not populated usually yet - they will as we get more players though. It's mostly 220-290 ping to either US or Europe from Melbourne for me, but it's not a big effect on the game. It's quite easy to 'double knock out' even with low pings so it just makes you need a little more skill/speed to overcome the 200ms difference. A lot of players have 150-250 pings though so it's fairly even. There is some bullet drop but even with a 200-300 ping aiming centre mass usually gives kills regardless of ping.
And yeah I played Verdun since first released into early access, great game but sad about the population numbers. I've always had to play europe (or sometimes rarely if lucky, US) servers for verdun/tannenberg. It's similar to those games though where ping doesn't really affect your ability to kill well.

Completely dissapointed that we didn't get a nice christmas/winter themed frame/bg :'c ... just like we did on autumn and halloween sales, I was really looking forward to it, not a fan of the limited winter one either, lacks christmas lights and cozy cabins

Bruh moment, my purchasing calculations were wrong, I'm now just 50 points off from getting the last perfectionist upgrade. Would be nice to be able to get points in other ways than buying stuff and people giving you awards. :S

I finally went and got RDR2 off Epic because Steam's discount didn't drop below any previous lowest % and Epic gave me the $10 coupon, so it technically made it 50% off over there. Plus my GTA5 is already stuck over there from the freebie, so it's keeping all my Rockstar stuff together I guess.

Tip: i think many of you know that but you can get trading cards by voting on the 2020 game categories (each vote = 1 cards so 10 cards can be get), you could also get each day a another card by watching all your discovery list game (1 cards can be get by this way each day)
You could use all this cards for make Badge for extra steam xp, but you can also get some cash by selling seem (each cards could be sold between 0.04 to 0.06 euros)
With this i already get 0.18 euros since the beginning of the sale :)

I mean pretty sure many use the free cards from these events to make the badge like once and sell the extras. Its sad that its only 1 per discovery queue, as its been 3 in the past.
