Am I the only one here who can only afford like 1-2 AAA games a year?

I'd rather buy 5 AAA titles from last year than a single one from this year. Especially since the older ones run better. :D

There's not many AAA games I like. I tend to get games I like.

At full price? I don't think I ever buy .. anything.

Only exception is Halo games. And I did buy BF3 on Xbox full price.

Living in a Eastern European country and paying the same price as the west since the minimum wage here is 200$ not 800$ line in spain for example - yeah I cant afford AAA games at all.

You obviously aren't the only one. Most games I own on any system are gifts from friends, or on PC bundle games. Otherwise I have to find another way to play the games I want.

Never, ever paid the full release price for a game and I don't plan to do that. Got so much shit to play that I donn't even care if I have to wait to play some game. Doesn't matter to me.

The last thing i bought for full price was Shadowrun returns in preorder, i mean it was 10 percent off but that's almost full price. I never buy stuff at full price with the exception of collector's editions with nondigital collectibles, which are getting more and more rare. The last things i bought were Mass Effect 3, Duke Nukem Forever that one had a really nice retail collector's edition, and Deus ex human revolution augmented edition.

So basically only retail stuff with cool collectibles is worth preordering for full price. Digital downloads aren't all that worth it if you are low on money.

I could probably afford to buy more than 1 full price AAA game each year, but that would mean cutting back on other expenses. As I don't really want to cut back on my other expenses all that much, I don't buy any full price AAA games, but instead buy them on sale, and spend my money on other important things, like books & booze.

You shouldn't complain and you shouldn't buy full priced AAA games if you afford only one a year.You can either trade for tf2 keys , you can get 59 euro games for 7-10 euros worth of tf2 keys or you can wait for the sales and buy then.

I can afford about 6 but, instead, I bought 200 or so cheaper games. :D

I can afford multiple AAA games a week... this week I got Dead Space, Medal of Honor, Crysis 2 and Mirror's Edge... who knows what i'll get next week!! :)

I can afford more, but I usually don't. I'd rather get six or so indie games instead of one AAA game. Usually I just ask for big AAA games for my birthday or Christmas...

I'm saving for the consoles.

I just wait for a 75% sale on AAA or a price reduction. 60 bucks is too much for me for 1 game.

That's the only thing that's great about being an adult and having a 9-5 job... buying so many games.

Oh and I can eat pizza for breakfast.
