Since I play tons of Dota and like to watch those videos AND I'm a filmmaker myself, I can tell you it's way too static and the 4:3 aspect ratio bothers me a bit. (do you still have a 4:3 monitor?)
But it's a nice start so keep on doing them and you will get the hang of it :)

i have 16:10 monitor. fraps options > half size
only way to make the videos 60 frames. with full size the movies drop sometimes 20-25 frames and this looks bad

If you have an Nvidia card, have you tried ShadowPlay? I heard it runs better but looks a bit worse.

i made a test now in 16:9... looks ugly if you play only with 16:10 :)
but the blackbars are gone in youtube with 16:9

I don't record games but fraps files are pretty huge I know, but Source can record footage directly, there for example is a guide for this:
clicky

Still takes a lot of space though.

Might give Open Broadcaster Software (OBS) a try. I use it quite a bit and with very little work it will record full size video. Of course unlike Fraps it doesn't save uncompressed video and typically uses x264. (Unless Fraps has started compressing their videos now last I ever used it the videos were uncompressed and HUGE file size)

I can't tell the exact reason why they are funny as I don't play DotA, but the edition totally made it look funny.

So I guess its a good feedback! :)

You need more dank memes if you want to survive in the dota 2 parody montage's subworld. Also, your description seems more like an ad than something about the video. You can see asier your group/promo/refereals/whatever than the music you used.

About the video, is not bad, you have recorded pretty good plays but for 3 minutes seems to be too long, and its not that long. The perception is hat is too long, like boring more or less.

Of course, I have no idea about videos or montage, so don't take my comment bad. As a first video is very good.
