Is S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky worth it?

The whole Stalker Series is awesome.
If you like post apocalytpic games like fallout, metro 2033 etc. - stalker is for you.

Yes. If you like FPS/RPG hybrids with nice atmosphere and good storyline, it's worth it.

I've read that CS, the middle game, is the least favorite of the 3. I have all 3 sitting in my inv. begging to be played.

All STALKER games are ^^ Just make sure to install some mods for added bugfixes. Specially on Clear Sky, The Complete mod should suffice. It is a little different though, since you can see enemy locations at all times cause of faction wars. Removing a large part of the atmosphere.

That's the worst STALKER out of the franchise. Buy Shadow of Chernobyl or Call of Prypiat instead.

All Stalker games are quite the same, but if I were you, I'd go for Call of Prypiat.

Clear Sky is a good break from all the seriousness in the STALKER franchise, it focuses more on the faction wars and such, much less atmosphere than the other 2 but plenty more action you could say.

I've heard a lot of people have been complaining about Clear Sky. I don't really understand it. Sure, the factions part of it is kind of broken, but otherwise it's probably my favourite of the STALKER series. Just remember to download Clear Sky Complete mod with it.

Play any of the three, if you enjoy it, chances are good you'll end up buying the other two just so you can enjoy more STALKER.

While Clear Sky was my least favourite of the three games, it's still worth playing, as is the entire series. You should also look into the available mods. Some of them are worth installing.

It's a decent game, it just isn't as good as the other two. If you haven't touched the series yet you should definitely start with Shadow of Chernobyl.

More STALKER is always a good thing. Just find the Complete mod for it and all your troubles will be reduced to harmless Russian jank.

I preferred SoC the most. CS, while looking pretty was kind of a pain in the ass.

compared to the other stalker games clear sky is slightly worse. But compared to other games its still great :D

It's the weakiest game in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R series, but still cool, anyway.
