So I've got me some new headphones. Amazon Headphones, ones with multi function buttons.

So I have two apps, Music Player (the default music app) and soundcloud. Whenever I press the play button on my earphones, it plays songs from soundcloud. Anybody knows a way so I can toggle which music app I want to use? thx bby

I'm using Android with CyanogenMod

Go to settings, apps and select the app, scroll down and 'clear defaults'.
Did it work?
Install something like Default App Manager and try there and also killing the app maybe...

Nope, the defaults were already cleared, Default app manager doesnt really help also, I always get error I/O when I set Google Play Music as my default. Only plays soundcloud by default

In my experience the center button on my headphones has always paused my music. Have you tried pressing it when Music is open but not soundcloud(force stop it)?

edit: Android 4.4

WELP. Everythings fixed now, apparently, I didnt have Google Play Music installed, I had some other default music app. Once I got google music, everything is working now. The buttons only work now with the app that is currently playing the music.
