yup ... the only risk - it might delete some more garbage while it is at the task, that is if you didnt unselected it
usually nothing you'd want or need on your system (cookies that track you or search bars and crap alike)

shouldn't matter, once its done it'll undo and unregister and force you to reboot

If Malwarebytes doesn't work, you can always try Spybot Search & Destroy for free too. https://www.safer-networking.org/

You can also try to use windows restore points , uninstalling/ reinstalling your browser or using another browser.

Additionally you might want the main malwarebytes program too. https://www.malwarebytes.com/
100% the best malware scanner around. Make sure you do a custom scan and select all your files rather than the default quick scan.

Along with MBAM (which is for Malware) you can also try Kaspersky Removal Tool (which is for Viruses). Although it says 2015, loads latest definitions, scan-ask-delete found infections and removes itself as you reboot to a clean system.

I recently downoaded and installed an hex editor and well my browser got infected.
I tried to find the cause uninstalled the editor (official site download too)
I keep getting annoying ads eerywhere.
I scroll down in a page and another tab pops up and redirects to shops or some weird sites.
And not to mention the browser redirects
Please tell me how to fix this.
My brother once fixed this kind of a thing by deleting some reg.... something file.
If you have any Idea please tell me.
(I have unistalled the hex editor and all software downloaded from the time period)
