Second verse, same as the first. Well, almost.
Last month we had a challenge about playing and finishing a game won on Steamgifts. Over 100 users participated and over 70 finished at least one game each.
Let's do the same thing, but change it up a bit.
We're doing it the same way as last month. Reply to the application post, and link to your achievement progress in the game (you can find your achievement link by visiting your steam profile, clicking "games", searching for the game you plan to play, and then press "view stats" and click the achievements in the menu - check this screenshot - just copy the link to the URL you get from there - it will look like this: http://steamcommunity.com/id/USERNAME/stats/NNNNNN/?tab=achievements).
When you're done with the game, you can edit your post and add a hard to miss "FINISHED!" or similar so I'll spot it easier when I do the end of the month count-up :D
Only one game is needed for the challenge, but for all of you who play more games, I'll do a top 10 list of those who finished the most won achievement games during the month. It's not a competition, we're all in it to have fun (hopefully)!
If you have limited time and want to know how much time you would expect to spend with a game before finishing it (to know if it's doable in one month) I recommend checking How Long To Beat.
If you can't remember which of your won games you have played and which you still have to finish, a good tool to use is this script by kelnage. Since it also lists achievement progress it's extra easy spotting those won games that have achievements where you don't have any yet (check for 0% after the game name when the script has updated your won page).
Here's a a bonus from Wolfedood, to all of you who participated in last month's challenge:
Hard West, no level requirement
Also a message: ""There were a lot of people that signed up last month so it's quite possible we missed a few. If you participated in January's challenge and completed at least one SG win but don't have access to the giveaway please reply here with a link to your post in that thread and if the game had achievements also provide the link to yours or if it didn't have then some proof of completion like a screenshot far into the game in your steam profile etc. Once you do you'll be granted access to the giveaway"
Let's see if we can beat last month by having more than 74 users finishing won games. Unplayed achievement games means it could be a bit harder.
Remember, reply to the first post to be part of the challenge! Feel free to use the rest of the thread for discussion/suggestions about games to play.

Do you plan on playing a won game during February?
What game won on Steamgifts are you going to play and finish this month? Reply to this post. Don't forget to link to the achievements, it must be a game you haven't gained any achievements in yet.
fun accepted once again, with The Shivah for starters!
will see later what else to pick :3
hope it's easy enough to spot :y
time to seek another game~
Nice, welcome back :)
next up, Left in the Dark: No One on Board :b
next up, Polygon Attack ¦3
note: achievements dropped only once game was closed... now it looks like SAM :l
decided to work on a guide on it
Maybe this neko has a thing for you :3?
but it already has a lovely frog hugging it :v
... it *is* alive, right? :^
Maybe it wants a new frogu in it's life :D.
next up, Monumental 🐸☕️
game would stop responding after solving puzzles, restarting the game every time solved it, but now the game won't even load the next area. according to threads, the game is riddled with unity bugs, ᵏᵉʳᵒ thus decides to abandon it, 31 minutes in according to steam.
will play Abyss: The Wraiths of Eden instead!
guess this is now "february is play all the HoGs you've been pushing back" :y
next up, Fairy Tale Mysteries 2: The Beanstalk~ :>
alright since it's heading down this way, might as well embrace it '¦3

Please find hidden object responsibly
I'm both impressed you're bee lining those, but also that you won them all on SG <_<
I plan to finish Dishonored 2.
Me too... again!
Can't wait to see the screenshots! :-)
I'm up for the challenge again :3 My first pick is gonna be Furi :3 hopefully I'll stop being obsessed with Diablo 3 and play some more steam games :v
Edit 2: Finished Idol Magical Girl Chiru Chiru Michiru Part 1, but it has no cheevos
Edit 3: Started Huniepop
Edit 4: Finished Huniepop.
Edit 5: Started and finished Love Ribbon
Furi looks quite nice, have fun!
I tend to forget that anything other than Steam exists, I have a few games on Origin I should play as well, and I need to get Diablo 3 some day. Don't even have a battle.net account as of yet :D
Didn't have a battle.net account either until D3 was on sale last month for their anniversary. I've already played it for 65 hours in ~2 weeks or so D:
And yeah, Furi was a highly wishlisted title of mine so I'm definitely looking forward to it ^^
Why would anyone play Diablo 3 *wink wink*
I plan to finish Why Am I Dead At Sea (and probably more but i'll be back for that with an update later)
Thanks for organizing this again :3
Ooh, an APG win, right? Nice that it gets played so soon after you won it!
Well, it seems appropriate PLUS i'm really really curious about it, Adelion did an awesome job selling it ;)
And done! (Beaten it last week end but only had time to explore all the alternate endings today.)
I'll probably play more SG wins so I'll be back with another update later this month ;)
Castle of Illusion
A boy and his blob
This comment was deleted 4 years ago.
I'm so glad to see that people are playing games they win :D
Grim Fandango Remastered.
Have fun with BoI, and if you get time for one more game, just edit your post :)
Ok, i will break my rules and i will add Grim Fandango Remastered :)
Grim Fandango Remastered 100% completed
I know that this game not enter as i began to play before february but BoI at 100 % :)
Didn't fully update my January post but you can see my progress on BLAEO :P
For this month the plan is:
Finishing up L.A.Noire which I started in January but got sidetracked with other games (so invalid for the challenge)
Going back and finishing Tales from the Borderlands as well, it wasn't fully released back when I won it and didn't go back later, but I think it's about damn time :P (so also invalid for the challenge)
From completely untouched games so far this month I hope I get to finish at least:
Stick it to the man
Elegy for a Dead World
Batman - Telltale series FINISHED
Stick it to the man
Stick it to the man
Loved Remember Me. <3
See my review. Or don't. :P
Because typing is fun, and this was actually a wishlisted win which I haven't touched yet.
I'm in again, guess it will be Duke Nukem Forever this time, maybe Solarix if I have time afterwards
Duke Nukem Forever
I'll participate this month! My pick is Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Director's Cut :3
I tried Deus Ex but it was too boring. I'll try again some other time! I did finish Trine 2 though~
Do I have to choose one game?
I plan to dive into Abzu and Four Sided Fantasy this month.
I'll just go with my flow and see how far (or deep) I'm coming with either or both of them ;)
You can play how many/few games as you want, and if you change your plans you can just edit the post. All won games without achievements gained previously that you finish during the month count, just remember to edit which ones you're done with :)
Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty
My pick for this month is Joe Dever's Lone Wolf HD Remastered.
I've started playing it already though, so I have one achievement
Nice! Last month I wanted to get in the challenge but couldn't cause of college. Tomorrow my 2 weeks vacations start so maybe I'll finally pick up Outlast, that I've been waiting to try for so long. And even though it doesn't have Steam achievements, after that if I still have time (probably will) maybe I'll try Else Hearth.Break().
Fortunately I won a game yesterday, otherwise I wouldn't be able to participate this time :-)
I'm entering challenge with Scrap Garden
I wasn't able to play anything last month due to crazy hospital shifts, but this month I'm going to have plenty of free time so I vow to finish at least 2 games. I'll start with Costume Quest 2 and Agatha Christie - The ABC Murders. (ง •̀_•́)ง
Costume Quest 2: FINISHED! - Loved this. I need a 3rd game now.
Agatha Christie - The ABC Murders: FINISHED! - So and so. The plot was too straightforward for my tastes but I loved the art direction and Poirot's VA.
I'm on a roll! Adding Kathy Rain: FINISHED! - I liked the first half. Then the plot became a vague supernatural mess and the ending felt like a cheap cop-out.
I'll start with A Normal Lost Phone, which I just won a few days ago in your group where I have to play everything soon anyways ;)
Edit: And FINISHED :D
This looks like a weird stalker game...
it probably is ^^
FINISHED. Nightmares from the Deep: Curse Heart.
Wow, you're first this month, congrats! :) see you were done even before I posted, but that's fine, all won games finished during February will count.
Since I didn't manage to continue with Doom in January, I'll finish it in this month.
Another game to finish will be Resident Evil 7.
Happy cake day Zibo ;) Yes.
Thanks! Yes :)
The Last Door - Collector's Edition because I've just won it :D It's a sign!
You're so lucky, it's an amazing game! And the second season's currently bundled on Bundlestars!
Yup, really looking forward to try it, I love pixel art! \I^v^I/
Great game, highly recommended!
Game of Thrones - A Telltale Games Series for now. I still have to finish The Witcher 3 and expansion pack before ^^
Game of Thrones - A Telltale Games Series
VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action
Dang, already beaten two won games this month :P
Next up is a game I installed a little while ago called Lucidity
/edit/ Well, I forgot to say finished after beating it, but well, finished!
This comment was deleted 2 years ago.
Last month i've finished only Outland, now i plan to finish 3 games, Broken Age (unable to start it in January), Maze Lord and Serious Sam Double D XXL, i can do it! (hope so xd)
sadly only one of three...
Poi just came out of Early Access, so now's a good time to give it a shot!
Finished yesterday Magma Chamber with 100%
Only game i won on SG with achievements i finished in January editon:)
But if Hard West will be mine i will try to beat it:D
Few days ago i won "Rise of Venice" It is strategy. There is achievement like "CSI Venice" - Play the campaign through.
Is it OK to take part in this challenge?
I'll take part most definitely, but the game(s) are not picked yet.
Worms Crazy Golf or Lifeless Planet are good targets, as they relatively short, but it can happen that I'll go with longer games. It's a pity that I already started a few games, and played just enough for 1-2 achivements :)
Meanwhile I won and finished the Telltalte TWD: Michonne :)
Got 12/17 achievements on Bit Blaster XL on January. Now plan to finish Solstice!
You can't have any achievements gained in the game previously
You can't have any achievements gained in the game previously
Ah darn it, I knew I should've waited little longer before starting Kholat! ;D
I'll participate this month as well, but I already have my mind set on doing Kholat first as well as finishing the achievement hunt (nine to go!) for my January game.
So for February's challenge I pick...
The remaining achievements are for the DLC, the main game's story is done.
I will finish Orwell
Planning to play Front Mission Evolved
And Nightmares from the Deep: The Cursed Heart
FINISHED Nightmares from the Deep: The Cursed Heart, missed a few achievements, but I'm alright with that. Let's see the other one.
FINISHED Refunct. A pretty nice little gem.
The Last Door Season 1, Season 2 and This Is the Police maybe?
Is the one with unlocked achievement on 01 Feb like this one eligible?
Otherwise I might also go with..
Sniper Elite V2
Haha didn't had seen this yet. On Wednesday i won Mad Combat Marines, i saw that the achievs were fast so i gave it a try. Did all the achievs in 3h so this month the challenge was done in the first day xD For today standards the game is pretty bad but it's fun to play so was a nice time^^
maybe Octodad: Dadliest Catch or Legend of Grimrock
[Finished] Nightmares from the Deep 2: The Siren`s Call
[Finished] Nightmares from the Deep 3: Davy Jones
[Finished] Abyss: The Wraiths of Eden Stats
[Finished] Fairy Tale Mysteries: The Puppet Thief Stats
[Finished] Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek Stats
Use a guide for the collectibles; some are hidden in pretty dumb ways.
Will do, thank you for the advice :)
Also this thread needs a bump :)
Hero of the Kingdom II. FINISHED!!
Will probably play at least one more.
SteamWorld Heist up next
I'll try to beat at least one between
Shantae and the Pirate's Curse — FINISHED
Legend of Kay Anniversary :)
I may add more if I were to finish both :)
Not Legend of Kay, but Fortix, which it was relatively short. Still missing 2 achievements though.
I've been meaning to play DmC: Devil May Cry for a looooong time and since it's in the BLAEO theme this month and February is "play a game you won on Steamgifts" month ;-), I'll compete! :-)
And finished! Didn't have a lot of time to game this month, but I managed to pull it off :-)
I'll try to finish Mafia II and maybe Epistory - Typing Chronicles if there's spare time. :D
Although the driving was too much but it is quite a phenomenal game, highly recommend it !
I'm definitively in for another month. The no previous achievements limits choices a bit, but I recon I'll get a few new ones done as well. I'll start the month off with Rolling Gauntlet.
Finished Rolling Gauntlet, it certainly deserved the negative reviews and I wouldn't have played it if not for the thread. I completed Schein as well. That was a more enjoyable experience. That was all I could fit into this month in between the games I'd already started and being busy at work.
I will try to finish Defunct and Lumini
Edit: Finished Defunct and Lumini
I plan on finishing Call of Duty: Ghosts which got carried over from last month since I got busy.
Just won this game and I am going to play it.
Greenwood the Last Ritual
Is it cheating to include a win from a certain group :P I was planning to play Orwell ASAP so that would be my pick for February, also aim to play the rest of the "Badtime Stories" games that they have stylised it as on the Steam store; replay This War of Mine with the Little Ones DLC I got in the winter sale and Beholder which I haven't played yet. I did finish Mafia 2 yesterday which was technically in February! Let me know if you think I should push myself to play something else too :)
I was planning to collect all the achievements but having gone through the first two chapters again I wasn't finding much difference in the dialogue and I realised I was just going to be doubling my playtime for a different ending five minutes at the end. That's not to say I didn't enjoy it though, really interesting story. I will try return to finish it completely at some point in the future, just right now is a bit hard going (and yes I'm aware of the new chapter selection update but I still require to go through the first chapters anyway).
This comment was deleted 3 years ago.
Planning to finish Refunct this month http://steamcommunity.com/id/aeonian_chacma/stats/406150/?tab=achievements
Refunct - finished
Don't have much time recently, so I'll stay focused on indie/short games that I won here. I already started Legend of Mysteria, Fortix 2, Frederic Resurrection of Music, Frederic Evil Strikes Back. Really enjoy the last 3 games so far, have mixed feeling about Legend of Mysteria lol.
I plan on playing Chronicles of a Dark Lord episode 1, assuming the internet cooperates and lets me download it
Okay, let's try this again and not forget about it... :P
Since Black Sails doesn't have any achievements, I'll go with my most recent SG win, Stories: The Path of Destinies.
FINISHED. Still two grindy achievements left for 100% completion.
Ground out those last two achievements for 100% completion.
plan to play styx: masters of shadows
I challenge myself to play and finish Zenith :D
I just 100%'ed it. I didn't expect that, lol.
I would have gone with Cognition without that last rule since I won the game on SG but already won a few achievements. So I'll go with Risen 2: Dark Waters Gold Edition instead.
(so yeah, basically 1 game + 2 DLCs. Not sure it'll change much for the final count, but I might as well beat everything.)
Game and DLCs beaten in the nick of time. I'll try to get the remaining achievements tomorrow.
I didn't think about joining last month's challenge, awww I beat 8 wins last month T_T
Anyway, for this month I'll enter with:
Shu! - Beaten technically before this post, still counts :p
Sickness - Completed
TIMEframe - Completed
Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight - Beaten
Beaten/Finished this month that don't qualify: Ryse: Son of Rome / Child of Light / SUPERHOT / ABZU / Crazy Fun - FootRock / Semispheres / A Trip to Yugoslavia: Director's Cut / The Leisure of Grisaia / Everlasting Summer / It Comes Around - A Kinetic Novel / Mad Father
all right, let's do this again!
this time I'll go with Goetia, fresh win from Christmas time :D
and yes, I know what I said last month..
what next? maybe Darksiders 2 or Deus Ex Human Revolution, since they've taken enough dust in my library.. so ashamed... >_>
what next? maybe Darksiders 2 or Deus Ex Human Revolution, since they've taken enough dust in my library.. so ashamed... >_>
yes, I'm still ashamed, but I still haven't fixed a thing and I'm not really in the mood for long games so I chose something that seems to be quite short and easy to complete during the month (which is short too :P)
wanna try another one, let's go with Ittle Dew! :D
EDIT: FINISHED first run, I'll try to reach 100% achievements too :D
edit2: yay, 100% achievements before the beginning of march! ^_^
Ok, I'm gonna try again this time since I failed last month. :P
I did finish the game I promised last month tho, just not in time.
This time I'm gonna go safe and choose TIS-100, since I won it in the Playing Appreciated group and will finish it this month. Maybe I'll add more, but we'll see. :3
EDIT: I know for sure that I won't finish it now. I just don't have the brain power and will power to finish it in 28 days. :c
I did played quite a lot of it tho, but it's just a bit too challenging for me. >~<
Fear not! I will return the next month! Next time I'll pick something that's actually easier to complete. xD
It's quite fun tho, Making myself play games that otherwise would sit in my library for a long time. :3 Good event!
I'll probably update the comment after actually beating the game, but who knows how long it'll take me. :P
I'm planing to play Pirate pop plus Achivements
Kathy Rain since I won it yesterday
Edit: forgot to say: Finished
Just BEAT Saints Row: Gat out of Hell. Next I'm gonna to try Pahelika: Secret Legends.
This game has a extreme small hitbox result in several tries even you know what to do, which is a disaster for the first playthrough for a HOG. Still it doesn't take much time to beat it, however I'm not going to 100% it.
I will try to finish Murdered: Soul Suspect.
I just won Sinless (http://steamcommunity.com/id/noakubrick/stats/340320/?tab=achievements), and I'm commited to finish it! (Like my other steamgifts wins, but they were not won this month to include them here)
It was too short, honestly xD
I think i will try to finish telltale Game of throne this month
FINISH THE GAME
Like last time I won it week ago and it is my last win.
Crime Secrets: Crimson Lily
Adding link to progress, but I will play it during weekend probably (so some time after this post).:)
Beat it in one sitting today with 100% achievements, it´s my 170th 100%ish game. See ya next month.
I pick Epistory - Typing Chronicles
Won Abzu recently so I will play and finish the game on the weekend.
These days I'm busy with a couple of games I bought, but I don't want to miss this challenge, so during the next 20 days I plan to start and finish Okhlos and Outlast.
Outlast: it seems like I got 2 out of the 5 obligatory story achievements, which should mean I'm only halfway through. It's not the kind of game you can play when it's daytime or there are distractions around, because if you don't completely immerse yourself in it there is no point in playing such game, and I didn't happen to find many good moments. I will surely finish it very soon anyways.
Okhlos has actually a roguelite structure such as the Binding of Isaac (I didn't realise it before playing it): it's possible to finish it in a 60-90 minutes run, if you have enough skill, practice, unlockable heroes... and a little bit of luck, which I apparently missed considering how far I was from beating the final boss Hades (or at least what I believe is the final boss). One more justification: I could only play it when I knew I had enough time because there is no saving during one run. I'll try again.
Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek EDIT: Finished
Enigmatis 2: The Mists of Ravenwood EDIT 2: Finished
Dark Arcana: The Carnival Finished
Mind Snares: Alice's Journey Finished
Fairy Tale Mysteries: The Puppet Thief Finished
Corrosion: Cold Winter Waiting Finished
The Lords of the Earth Flame Finished
I'm going to scare myself a little with Curse after finishing Assassins Creed II which I'm playing now...
EDIT: DONE (bit of a turndown really. Very, very lineair; not scary, graphics only so so)!
Next: Her Story
EDIT: 100%! (amazing game!)
i FINISHED Highlands
I'm finally settled enough at work to start on marathon runs :3
Start with Killer is dead
ngl I forgot about the thread but Killer is Dead mainstory line is done! not 100% achieves though.
I'm going to play Volume
Well. I intend to beat Hard West. And some other games probably but Hard West will be my quest for this month. Yes ;)
I've beaten it all right. Yes.
I also beaten Abyss Odyssey and Bulb Boy.
Spec Ops: The Line. Been meaning to get to it and with a lull in my classes coming up I can sit back and enjoy it.
Edit: Beat the game and had 41/50 achievements a few days ago, so "Finished." Going to try and go a little further however and 100% the game if possible, which means beating the game 2 more times on the 2 hardest difficulties.
Beat second playthrough of the game yesterday and standing on 49/50 achievements! I'm considering this "FINISHED" for now as the final achievement of beating the game on the hardest difficulty may take me about 25+ additional hours based on the guides and discussions (and my previous campaign of the second hardest difficulty...). Probably revisit it again soon to 100% it once I get a couple consecutive free days I can push through it :)
I plan on finishing Over The Hills And Far Away.
I just recently won my first 2 games in February so I will try to beat:
Glad to be back.
Just finished FINISHED Dear RED.
Going to try finish a few other short ones like Micron and the entire Space Pilgrim series.
Right now, I'll play Teslagrad.
When I'm done with that one, I'll see if I can beat Middle-Earth in the remaining time for this month.
Edit: Finished Middle-Earth and its dlc
I forgot to reply, but I already finished 8. Still trying to finish some more games. I hope to complete 15 until the end of the month to continue my path towards a 50% sg wins played rate (I'm at 27% atm)
I shall now beat TurnOn.
I have now beaten TurnOn.
I've 100%ed Home is Where One Starts
I actually gained most of the achievements before posting here, although I did it all in Februrary, so that probably disqualifies me, but eh, either way the game got some love ;)
I may pick another short game to try and put some decent gametime into, unfortunately my gaming time is less and less recently :/
I completed 9 Clues 2: The Ward. I'm currently replaying it to get the rest of the achievements.
Ok, I wasnt going to take part this month but I've accidentally finished a few SG games anyway so I'll post them here :P
Gryphon Knight Epic
Plus one that don't count since it has no achievements (boo)
Defense of Greece TD
i forgot about this post so here is what i finished this month:
A Boy and His Blob
GOD EATER RESURRECTION This game was a bonus for God Eater 2 which I actually won. It isn't on my won page, but I still count it as SG win.
Papo & Yo
The Purring Quest
The Silent Age
Time Mysteries: Inheritance - Remastered
Time Mysteries 2: The Ancient Spectres
Time Mysteries 3: The Final Enigma
Hare In The Hat
You can't have every month be "play a game won on Steamgifts" month :p
Also I have no wins left to play so (╯°□°）╯︵ BUMP
You're on to me!
...but why not? ;)
To be honest, I didn't think January would get as much attention as it did, I thought there might only be a few member participating, so announcing a 12 month thing seemed a bit too ambitious then... but the "pilot program" worked well!
I have to say I'm equally surprised that it became so popular simply by you suggesting it :D Well played sir.
Wuts dis? Let me start me sammy and gib dem garms. Hurrdurr, cards and epeen. Yumyum.
Guess I'm not eligible for this months theme, but have a bumpy for the great initiative! ♥
Already completed them all?
edit: oh, need to start them fresh, now I understand.
Sadly only 12/18 beaten. :((( The "You can't have any achievements gained in the game previously" requirement is what messes me up. Regardless, I'll try pulling myself together and finish This War of Mine, even if it doesn't really fit with the theme here, because of what is stateted above. :p
Can I just leave up a generic comment about entering, and editing in my finished games later? Judging from january, I'll likely play completely different games than I originally aim for :)
Sure, you're free to edit if you change your mind :)
Do you have to finish the game completely?
Oh, maybe I should copy that from the previous thread. 100% achievements is not needed, just to finish the main story of the game. I'll edit the original post to explain that.
I probably won't 100% it either, The Witcher 3 will take a while to complete I think..
I managed a couple of games last month but will take a break in February to clear through some of my not-Steamgifts backlog and a few SG wins that don't have achievements. Good luck to everyone taking part. I'll see you in March, also known as 'play a game you won on steamgifts' month :D
Can't be a full SG challenge without a GA reward for the previous month now, can it? :P
Clicky Clicky Hard West, no reqs
Please add this along with the giveaway link to the description:
"There were a lot of people that signed up last month so it's quite possible we missed a few. If you participated in January's challenge and completed at least one SG win but don't have access to the giveaway please reply [here](permalink to this comment) with a link to your post in that thread and if the game had achievements also provide the link to yours or if it didn't have then some proof of completion like a screenshot far into the game in your steam profile etc. Once you do you'll be granted access to the giveaway"
Thanks, I'll edit the original post soon!
Hi, i'm not sure if it still not ended but if not i couldn't take part;)
I'm sorry but it's already ended, wanted it to last no longer than 10 days in case one of the people that had no wins to play this month got it, sorry :(
Now most people can't access it, I stated in it that I would remove most people from the whitelist after it finished. Had you tried last week or before that? I seem to remember your username being in the whitelist.
Edit: Checked it, you had access, you are among the entries :P
Ohhh... I don't know why i thought that it is bonus and so second Hard West GA.
I am really hoping to win this game and when saw BONUS just to try take part;-)
Sorry for wasting your time;)
One more question. What is it an addon you use. I very like this layout esspecialy colours. It is much more clear than standard SG. Is it for Chrome or only some other browser?
The screenshot you saw was from Firefox, my browser of choice :P
I don't remember if it's this specifically but Mully has made a couple darker styles, you can find them here
Thanks a lot!;)
Now it is much better. In standard layout the top bar was for me barely visible:)
Oh wow, I completely forgot about this. Have a bump and accept my apologies. If you continue this onto next month I'll try again then! :D
No worries! If you have the time in March there might be a new twist by then ;)
I don't know if I have the guts to keep with Styx. Those jumps are frustrating. I'm currently finishing Shadowrun: Hong Kong. I'ts very very good.
Well, those wouldn't be eligible for the challenge with this month's rules though :/ Great if you still decide to play the games!
Don't worry, I just wanted to tell you :P maybe next month
styx jumps are the easy part of the game. roabies on the other hand...
I forgot to reply to the January post with my results so I'll do it here :D I have beaten:
-The Uncertain: Episode 1 - The Last Quiet Day
-Through the Woods
Nice work, that's really good progress and some excellent games!
I completed Qbeh-1 last month, but I didn't add it because I started it in December. I also have been playing Gimbal, but that doesn't count because it is a neverending multiplayer game.
It looks like I won't be able to add Epistory - Typing Chronicles either because I just started it a few days ago. Oh well, maybe I will add the next one to the list if I remember.
For my own records, 7 out of the last 8 games I have played and completed (I try and complete all games I play) were SG wins and the additional 2 games I am currently playing are also SG wins.
Edit: I am also playing Devil Daggers now, but can't add that to the list either because it is another neverending game.
The only 2 wins I haven't played yet are too big to install for my current available disk space. Hopefully I'll win a nice one this month so I can participate :)
Will participate if I win anything
Let me join! xD
I think I'll choose Witcher 2
Got Mother Russia Bleeds the other day and finished it a few hours ago. Does that count?
Funny enough, last month I beat four of my SG wins but NONE of them were the one I said I would :p
This month I'm going to beat "Her Story" and most likely another one.
I did the same thing. Beat half a dozen wins, and not the one I said I was going to beat. :X
At least we accomplished more than we said we would!
Now I'm working on another win which is Edna & Harvey: Harvey's New Eyes
Ah dang, no idea how I missed you in there. Fixed now, you have access to the GA (^o^)b
February is a craft beer month in Finland ;)
Yesterday I finished The Cave which was the game I had picked for last month. Too lazy to rewrite and post my thoughts on the game again but if anybody is curious you can find my first impressions here and the new screenshots (Spoilerwarning!) here.
Not picking a new one for now because a few days ago I was gifted my N°1 wishlist game Starbound by an extremely generous person and judging by my Terraria trackrecord I'm propably going to play that all day, every day :D
Actually playing Walking Dead:Michonne which I won, but I'll likely add another to the list.Perhaps Thea: The Awakening
Soon it seems, we'll need a calendar on steamgifts for community events. :P
Just wondering: As long as the other stuff still applies (no chievos prior to this month, can be finished...) I can finish the game first and then reply to the application post, right ? Because once I officially declared my intent to finish a game, it could be the best game in the world, playing it still becomes kind of an obligation so I'd rather do it the other way around.
Yes, if you look up my question on page 1, Tso said it's okay to reply later / edit the goals, as long as the games are fitting (I have the same problem you just described :D Feeling as a job / being sidetracked by another game)
That's good to know. Thanks for the heads-up :) I already have a game in mind but for now it shall remain unnamed :D
