Seems they released yet another new class/character today, and along with it comes new recipes, items, weapons, monsters and achievements.

Looking forward to try an Insane run with this new character... but I'll probably test her out on Easy first to get used to her quirks and playstyle. Can't believe they're still updating this game and adding new content after 3 years, but this is supposedly the final DLC. Hope there'll be a Sword of the STars: The Pit 2 in the future.

Potato?

I was a bit surprised when I saw this in my update history. Didn't know about the new DLC. Nice!

I bought it on GamersGate over two years ago and put a fair number of hours into it on the DRM-free download they provided, then I guess I burnt myself out on it. Never got around to buying any of the DLC besides the Pilgrim.

To be honest I didn't even know of the Healer DLC until today. Noticed Steam downloaded an update for The Pit, checked the forums to find out what it's about, saw people talking about the upcoming Medic class, and lo and behold, a few hours later, it's out.

Oh, so that's what the update is for! I love this game, I occasionally will turn this on when I have the itch for a quick roguelike game. Thanks for the heads up!

The only thing that keeps me from playing again is way too long (even with quick+fast) and this game doesn't encourage kill-and-explore everything style, way too random! (weapon with no ammo or vise versa , restricted race item, too rare ingredient (Composite Cloth, please)), useless armor overall, Acid proteins (lazy to drop equipment) and stupid Spectre when I have no element attack. Other than that they're cool. :(

Been a couple of months since I played. It's one of those games I wanted for a long time, played a few runs and then never installed again since my last computer died. Definitely need to change since I did enjoy my short time with it. I need to get on playing Dungeons of Dredmor too some more.
