All the prices were really double what they are now, yesterday?

Yep. The only one I'm not 100% sure about is the Back to Basics bundle. I can't remember if it was $1.99 or $2.49 last time I looked.

Still, 14 games for $1.25 is a steal. ;)

Considering the price usually goes up to $4.99/4 bundles for Happy Hour, you're basically getting the Happy Hour price right now.

True, but not every bundle gets a Happy Hour, not everyone buys them at Happy Hour, or even bought them the initial period to be able to get the 4 bundles at Happy Hour. Now if they want a bundle or two for themselves, they can get it at half off.

Obviously this deal isn't for everyone, but 1/2 off bundles is still a deal to some people.

Oh, I didn't mean it wasn't a good deal! Just pointing it out in case someone was thinking of buying extra copies now, that the price works out the same =P

Haha, no worries, I didn't read anything into it! It's sometimes hard to tell someone's tone in text. :P

I'm taking advantage of the opportunity to pick up a couple of bundles I passed over before because I owned most of the games. Now I can get them cheaper and give away the rest without obliterating my wallet before holiday shopping. XD

It was $1.49 two days ago when released, but IG bundles always have a lower price for the first 24-48 hours then they go up to their "normal" price. So this is effectively 50% off the higher price point, past the initial saving.

tl;dr version - I can confirm it was $2.49 earlier today so it is 50% off.

Long version - I know that because I saw this thread by TinyPurple where he was saying people could get Eaten Alive for cheap and then sell the cards for a profit. I thought to myself that maybe people could get the Back to Basics bundle instead that also has the same game in it and it might work out better for them as that bundle was initially priced at $1.49 and nearly all the games have cards. However, when I clicked on Indie Gala to check the current price it had gone up to $2.49. It's standard for Indie Gala bundles to rise in price like that, usually after about 24 hours after being released.

Thanks for the clarification. I thought the same thing, then started to doubt myself. :D

I was going to purchase the happy hour but had issues with recaptcha working so I restated my browser. After bringing it back up, I'm not seeing it. Did I either A: go crazy and there wasn't a happy hour, or B: have a moment of unluckiness and missed it by a minute?

There was a Happy Hour up for the Friday Special, but they took it down right after the sale started. I was about to grab it myself and it was gone when I checked again.

Yeah! I bought 4 bundles, only one in which I had most of the games already was the "Back to Basics" bundle. And this includes a few games I was really trying to win on SG so now I can move on with my life. :)

I think you can only buy one at a time.

If you want more than one, they have to be separate purchases and anything past the first purchase of a specific bundle has to be done as a "Gift". Check the box next to "Is it a gift? ( Check it if you are buying same bundle again using same email! )" and you'll get a gift link you can email to someone (or another email account of your own).

If you accidentally bought the same bundle twice without checking the ":GIFT" option, just contact IndieGala support and they'll fix it for you. Email them from the same email you used to make the purchase. I forgot to check the gift option just last week, and they fixed the problem and sent me gift links within 12 hours. :)

Hi Tzaar. I did the mistake of buying a bundle again without selecting Gift. I've sent an email to support because I only see the old keys. Hopefully they will help me and give me new keys. Good weekend!

Gift keys are separate keys too?

They'll add a "Gift Link" to your library -- and you can email that link to another email or redeem the keys yourself. And yes, they're all separate keys. :)
