Strange Situation with Giveaways

It happens with packs and some bundles, it's a bug. It's against the rules to enter such giveaways, even if the site allows you to.

For instance, I'm able to enter giveaways for the "Ultra Bundle" even if I own all of its games. In most cases you'll also be able to participate in giveaways for DLCs you own. It's a bug and one is not supposed to take advantage of it.

And if you win it the gifter can simply check your games and then re-roll your ass. So, if you want to waste points/time/energy and break the rules, go for it

You need to re-sync your account by going to your Account settings every now and then (after adding games to your account). I myself usually forget sometimes, and only realise when it prevents me from entering a draw for some DLC attached to a game I previously didn't have (but now do).

It happens with anything that has dlc generally. (it's a steam thing iirc since it doesn't make it obvious what dlc you may or may not have to outside viewers.)

By the way, what happened to the games you won ? You're supposed to activate them.

Steam doesn't report most DLC and packs so the site is unable to know that you do in fact have anything beyond the base game. It's still against the rule to enter though and the gifter would probably ask for a re-roll if you were to win.
