Hey, question btw, I'm pretty stupid, so I think I don't understand, i wanna make sure i find the correct games, the top part of the message says we need to play 6 games that have been featured in 2 months, does that mean ANY 2 months have to have the game I pick? Or does it mean that ALL 6 of the games i play have to be in 2 months? (3 in one, 3 in another or 2 in one, 4 in another, like that), do the links in the bottom take us directly to the games we can play or do we have to check for the double month?

^That one. This "Monthly in a Month" event lasts for 2 months, and in that 2 months you'll need to beat 6 games that have been part of a Humble Choice bundle (formerly Humble Monthly).

EDIT: akfas is correct. Sorry, I misunderstood the section of your post that I quoted. You can choose & play any 6 games from any Humble Monthly/Choice you want. The 6 games I've chosen to play are from 6 different months.

Edit: I think you can misunderstand insideAfireball comment. You have 2 months or aka till next next monthly is released on tuesday(so till 4th november). You can play any game that is eligible for the event from any humble choice/monthly! It can be from the same or each game from different monthly/choice... Just take a look at other people comments and you will easily understand!

Well, not any because you can't really play multiplayer/online games and some roguelikes... Also as stated in rules, you can't have any real playtime (just starting the game and doing settings or running benchmark is fine) before the event, for this just check if you have any achievement for the game before the event start date if not all good.

As always I will try to select some of the games to suit featured one. There are not many South Korean games that's been on Choice, but found at least one - The Coma 2. Then it would be nice to pick up some souls-like as well. Hellpoint would be perfect choice due sci-fi setting, but just finished it. In that case might go for The Surge.

For really short games i.e. 30 min, you might need to do 100% achievements.
I have made a google doc for all games and also included if you can do them and what is needed as proof :)

Any real time spent playing the game before the event is against the rules but you can idle/open the game to change settings, do in-game benchmark etc.. Rule of thumb for this would be just check if have any achievements before the start date of event as then it won't count! (if you played before the event and didn't get achievement no one can tell if it was just idle time in the game or if you played it...)
Also feel free to make a list of games you are playing for the event like other comments here and you can even have a question there if they count/eligible for the event and someone will surely check out and let you know :)

Hello and welcome to the madness!
The challenge is simple: Play and beat any 6 games, starting today, that have been featured in any given Humble Monthly/Choice bundle in two months.
The prize: 2x Stellar Blade™
Note: This means I'm giving away two copies of the game and will have 2 winners.
Game length does not matter and I'm not looking for 100% achievement runs. So long as you play and beat 6 games, I'm happy. You can go easy mode and play a bunch of 1h games or go crazy and play 6 +30h games. So long as they were in a monthly at a given point, it is all good.
Just post a comment with either screenshots/ achievements showing that you fulfilled the criteria and I'll add you on Steam and give you the link. Feel free to share your thoughts on the games you've played, but it is not required.
FAQ:
Why you doing this?
I hate money. That and I realized I've been subbed to the monthly for over nine years (yes it has been that long, I checked) and it occurred to me that I've barely touched the games I've gotten from it, let alone played them. Figured the same would be true for a few others, so I figured this is a good way to change that. A sensible person would probably unsub in this situation, but please refer to the beginning as to why that will not happen.
I've played the first X minutes of a game, can I pick it for the event?
No. You cannot have any play time or achievements prior to the start of the event. The only exception is idle time from farming Steam cards.
Can I play a MP only game?
No. It needs to have an "end" in order for me to count it as beaten, so it needs to have a campaign/story mode.
If a game was sold as a non-Steam copy in a bundle (origin/uplay/drm-free/etc), can I pick it as a choice if I own a Steam copy?
No. The reason being that those who own a Steam copy would have an extra option that would not be available to everyone who bought the same bundle. If the game was originally sold as a non-Steam copy, but Humble later provided steam keys to everyone who bought the bundle, then the game would be allowed.
Why six games?
The first few monthlies had 6/7 games in them so I went with that.
How long are you going to do this?
Until my credit card statements gives me nightmares.
This event "ends" on November 4th when the next next HB Choice releases, though the giveaway itself will end the day after. If you manage to finish game number six in between that time, feel free to post, but know that I cannot guarantee that I'll be able to give you the link in time.
