Is this a real life friend or just some "friend" on Steam? If it's the former, maybe offer to help them go about finding a seller of an unusual they want. If it's the latter, just tell them no, and if they persist, remove them and block if necessary.

A friend who keep complaining about fucking unusual hat in tf2, he wanted it so bad. Well, Excuse me, Have patience, I am trying to unbox 400+ crates with my weekly money.
He wanted to "BORROW' it, My ass, is there any way I can prevent this from happening?
