There was but the dev stopped supporting it. I currently use SteamDatabase plugin. It's not as good as enhanced steam but it works well.

Like you i found it kinda funny that you bought the same game just based on failing to check,and i am guilty of doing something stupid because i did not double check.I think we all do sometimes it what makes us human.
It just to me it seemed more ironic because here you buying a game on Amazon which means you had access to the net but failed to just check Steam real quick to see if you own the game.I would think that what someone who collects games would do,a random person who just buys games i would be more incline to think rookie mistake,but someone with over 5,000 games does not stop and think about checking if they own it is a a face palm moment if you ask me.
Seeing how you got around 5,000 i assume you collect them and i would think the first thing you would do is check to see if you owned it.
Anyhow again sorry if it seemed liked you offeneded not sure how it would seem like that anyhow because you did it and it has nothing to do with me.

yeah I normally check, I don't know why I didn't realize, probably because I was thinking PES 2015 instead of pro evolution soccer.. ahh well, I don't collect them, I just buy alot of bundles :-D, I like to have many choices when picking which games I want to play. Hate having that feeling of wanting to play something but then not playing it.
Also steam sale time the last 2 sales I got so much money from selling my cards think I picked up 100 - 200 games each sale.
I was just rather shocked when it said I already owned it... had to do a double take and tried to code a second too. Not too big of a deal, i'm sure I'll figure out something to do with it..

It happens but the good thing is you got a laugh out of it instead of being angry.
I am sure you find a good home for the game.Though i do not know how you can pick with that many games,i have over 500 and sometimes i give up on just trying to pick a game to play and just do something else.I can not imagine trying to decide with say 1,000 let alone 5,000
Cards and the market to much work for me i just craft badges though i think i roughly only get about 100 Steam wallet for the cards i do have and the ones i crafted already and i rarely buy on Steam,and i have enough trouble picking games now lol.
Anyhow i hope i do not see you 6 months with another game you purchased you owned lol

I always check my Steam account in case i own a game already before purchasing anything. Yup, it's tedious, but safer, hehe.

PES 2015 no longer has a store page as it's a removed game. I normally check with bundles, sometimes the game either doesn't show up or may be listed under a different name..

I've done that, before. My worst, accidental case was when I forgot to cancel my (additional) pre-order of Dragon Age. Sixty dollars down the drain, no refunds, no use for the game, no way to give it to someone else.
Usually, however, I buy games I own and enjoy so I can give them to others.
