Steam download speed

Max I've had got is 71,5 MB/s I had a screenshot of it but deleted it recently.

I downloaded portal 2 the other day and i was 3-6 mb/s

Seems fine to me.

i had never problems with the downloadspeed, so i can't help you. normaly i get 6MB/s.

I download with speed of 5mb/s
no problem here.

Count yourself lucky, I have a 800k internet connection.
It took me weeks to install Battlefield 3.

I'm getting 6-12MB/s.

probably a problem with your ISP or bandwidth .. my download speed 80-140 mbit/sec

OMG i can only LOL and cry about your problem :D dont you think that someone in the world, for example, me. have to DL ALWAYS with speeds from 0 to 300KB/s ! i can see above 300KB/s speed like 1 or 2 times in month for 2 sec :D although my max connection speed should be 3MB/s ( and no, i cant change my ISP ).
so please be patient :P

I'm downloading from Steam with 4-8 mb/s every time and becouse of that or something else whenever Steam is Updating or downloading something, my computer is slowing down :D ..

ya know i would say upgrade your internet but looking from your pictures thats not the case :O i get 2.3mbs on a 200gb/month plan and i'm on my wifi connection. perhaps its your actual computer thats the problem?

my friend and his brother have 2 separate laptops my friend gets a better download speed than his brother on a wifi network. not sure why.

Check the health of your hard drive.

I'm always downloading on my max, which is ~850kbps and has been 220kbps until like a week ago.

And I always needed like 1 week to download games xD

I used to have 1,2mb/s now I have 530kb/s ....

I average 1.2 MB/s

it's incredibly fast.

mines always atleast 500 kb/s, most recently, it has been spiking extremely high, it spiked to 4.2 mb/s for about 10 minutes.
