[SOLVED] Anyone with problems to use the Confirmation feature in Steam Mobile app?

Do you get a notification? It tends to be a bit slow after i get the notification but it works for me.

Sometimes I need to either hit refresh or go to confirmations in the menu to get it to show up.

Did you check your email?Maybe they sent the confirmation to your email address.

Do you use applications like Greenify?

I had an issue with the confirmations 2 weeks ago, i saw the trade i wanted to confirm but i couldnt open it, i tried for a whole day, every like 30 min and nothing... eventually ended reinstalling the app and worked, but since i had to recover the mobile security and shit i got the 3 day hold on trades for 7 days until i had the freacking week with the mobile security...

Ever since the new rules went live this month, I've been having constant problems. The authenticator just keeps getting worse, while accounts are still being compromised and turned into virus bots. Thanks, Valve.

You gotta ask it on a date. If it says yes, take it to a nice dinner at a pricey restaurant. After dinner, give it a relaxing time at your house with a bottle of wine in a room with jazz music . Start a conversation to enhance the night, then slowly edge to it to give a very affectionate kiss. Only then will it give no troubles to you.

ok, so after a few mobile restarts and cancelling my previous listings through the app so I wouldn't get the suspension I managed to get a confirmation for a new listing. I hope this isn't a process I have to do every day or it will get real messy.

Hope Valve sort things out because it was working fine a few days ago.

have you looked at your phone's settings? maybe something there is preventing the push notifications.

I used to have this problem all the while when I was using my old phone.
Then never got this problem any more when I upgrade to a better phone.

Seems the mobile app have some of "minimum specs requirement" to work well.

That's what you get for receiving 2 cents.

Increase to 100 bux then you'll have your problem solved instantly.

I had it happen twice where new listings would show up for confirmation, but not allow me to confirm them. Cancelling all those pending posts and then restarting android had it working again each time.

Another time I had a few that didn't show up on the app at all, and just cancelling them on steam and reposting them fixed that.

Not sure if either of those is helpful to your situation. :)

I had the same problem with trading now and the problem was, that I was logged in with the wrong account (I am using one phone for two accounts). In order to get the CONFIRMATION NOTIFICATION, I had to be logged in the account that needed to confirm the trade (you need to be online and signed in in order to get the notification and that's the only way you can get the confirmation). I hope this helps someone searching for a FIX - even in 2018 :)
