Sounds good! Hope SG will follow up with an official announcement soon, as right now it's still unclear whether you'd immediately get in trouble on the site if you use this feature in combination with owned and won games. (And this issue was brought up in a few threads a month ago)

Please make sure that if you win a game that it's not marked as "Private". When a game is marked as "private" it's not visible in your library, so it will look like you didn't activate the game or you removed it from your library.

I'm sure everyone here is respectable and fair so it's enough to just ask them...
Right now the only way to tell, is to ask them to put the game on their wishlist before they enter. They can't put privated games on their wishlist. This needs to be implemented on the site, right now it's possible with sgtools. My comment is about making sure that people who have won a game don't mark it as private as they can be suspended. Your comment is about adding something to the site to prevent GA abuse.

I don't think "private" hides from family sharing. You'd have to add someone as "children" to be able to restrict the games they can access.
Edit: at least there's confliciting opinions/statements on that:

Private games will no longer show on family sharing accounts

As with Steam Family Sharing previously,.... Games or content that matches the criteria below cannot be shared between accounts....

The latest shopping cart update is out of beta and is now available to everyone on Steam across the desktop client, Steam Deck, and mobile.
Here’s a summary of the new features if you missed the initial blog post.
Gift to multiple friends in one go, with streamlined messaging for hassle-free checkout.
Your cart now follows you seamlessly anywhere you're signed in to Steam (including Deck and mobile), ensuring a unified shopping experience wherever you go.
Maintain your privacy by marking games as private before purchase, giving you control from the start.
Mark selected games as private so they are only visible to you, giving you more control over what you share with friends. This lets you keep your Steam Library visible to your friends, so they can see what you are playing and join in, yet also keep a few of those games just to yourself.
During the beta period we made improvements and fixed bugs – thanks to your feedback! DLC for private apps will also default to private, but you can customize that from App Properties in the game’s Library Details page. And when you’re playing a private app you’ll be reminded of your status with a privacy indicator at the top of your Friends List.
You’ll find these new features next time you sign in to Steam – including on mobile devices and Steam Deck.
Your feedback is essential as we continue to improve. Share your thoughts with us, and stay tuned for more updates to checkout!
