You are not serious enough about it. You should create an application form for group owners with at least 32 questions. The applicants would be also required to provide one's bank summary and recommendation letters from notable CG members. The forms should be reviewed by your private assistant who you should hire via yet another thread, that would also require separate application form. Then you should pick 50 top candidates and put them under the Cage of Llama Doom, where they will fight until only one is left standing.

I know absolutely nothing about how this all works, really, I still feel like one of the new kids in town, but if I may be so bold and presumptuous as to make a suggestion, I'd suggest going with the smaller groups - like in double-figure or lower triple-figure membership - rather than the larger ones...but I have no suggestions to offer or membership offers to extend because most of the Steam Groups I'm in are ones like IGB, IndieGala, Indie Kings etc...

NEVER write someone off because they are new. You never know who the next Lalama may be, or the next Puna. I was new once, but in less than a year, I had given 100's of bucks. Puna maybe more than that. Maybe not, I think I gave him all the games he owns.

I did mention a "lv1 contributor" not "someone new".
All new members starts off at lv0 and many stay that way, as they have no source of income to spend on the community (like me)
I've had this account for over a year, but only managed to use its services two weeks ago.

So, I've been talking with my lawyer, well, not really my lawyer, more of an adviser. Well, not so much an adviser, but a Steam friend.
Anyhoo: I have decided I will no longer be pursuing my group (Llama Freebies). I have closed my website, closed my group and closed my mind at the thought of taking it any further. I simply don't have the time. Fo' real.
This is bad for anyone sadistic enough to follow my group and listen to my rants, but this is good for other groups. Here is what I decided to do:
I want to float from group to group making it rain on you bitches with all of my normal weekly giveaways, plus the money I save by closing my $200 hosting plan...and domain. Now, I know I'm not Bill fucking Gates, and I don't want to come off as presumptuous in thinking that anyone here with a group would want me as a member, but I will cease all weekend forum giveaways and give everything to the group. I am thinking I will probably be a member of a group for 1 - 3 months. Haven't figured that part out yet. Do I sound like a douche yet?
So, here is what I am doing: The total fucking opposite of what usually happens: I am interviewing groups. If you would like me to come to your group, give a few hundred bucks a week without taking a dime, post your group here along with why I should join.
If I'm coming off as a complete asshole (maybe, I'm drunk) Then post here why you think I'm an asshole. Might just win a game.
