If he redeems the gift and doesn't mark it as received, you can notify support and they'll mark it for you (iirc).
If he doesn't redeem the gift (to inventory instead), report him and he'll get permbanned. This is against SG rules.
If he doesn't redeem the gift (at all), then rescind your gift offer after a week (can be done from Steam inventory) and contact support for a reroll.

My First giveaway finished earlier. I send the game via Steam to his email address. I also sent a friend request first but heard no reply. He was playing a game at the time, so he might not have noticed the gift, not exactly sure how the gifting system notifies, especially if using an email to send the gift. But, checked his inventory and the last game he won, which was a month ago is still in his inventory and not his games list. Should I be concerned that he won't confirm receipt of the game and I won't get credit for the giveaway, or am I just being impatient and paranoid? I know he has a week to confirm so I guess I will just wait for now and hope he activates the game....
