I hope that y'all know that my smart@ss answers on these polls about not knowing anything about the particular flavor of music trivia I've presented is just me messing with you and is all in good fun. I actually hope that if you have no idea what I'm talking about that you'll take the time to go and check out artists that I'm suggesting in these GA discussions. You may find something that really speaks to you. Or not...you may hate it or not "get it," but that's cool...at least you'll know something about that artist, and knowledge is never a bad thing. :)

Miles Smiles [I dig how everything just really moves on that album]

The Birth of the Cool [Those early songs that became standards are my favorite]

'Round About Midnight [When his quintet finally came together, that was the bomb-diggity]

Sketches of Spain [The crew of musicians he worked with on this album, along with the straight-up Spanish music are unbeatable]

B!tches Brew [Ok, he was doing a lot of drugs by this phase, but OMG the creativity of this album is unparalleled]
