Far Cry 3 on Steam or not?

Hello everybody, Far Cry bundle (1,2 and 3)is in promotion on Nuuvem (66%off, like U$25) and I really wanna buy it because I was waiting since the lanch to have a great promo, but if I buy in Nuuvem I don't get steam key. Do you guys think worth buying it even without steam key?

You will still need to have uPlay to play the game. Go with it!

No it's not Steam, but it doesn't matter. No Steam achievements or any of that stuff. When you launch it from Steam, it just launches UPlay. So just get the UPlay version and add a shortcut in your Steam if you feel like it.

The only reason to use Steam for FC3 is so that you can install it directly via Steam, so no, it's not a big deal. I was really dissapointed. Steam can't even track the playtime correctly.

Well... if you Start up the game (UPlay window) and your status goes from In-Game Far Cry 3 into Online, just close it and start it up again. Worked to me.

You see? That's a circle which repeats itself. How we stop it? I'll tell you how. We stop pirate Ubisoft and in general any other company's games.

And we also refuse to buy the games. If you say it isn't worth buying, it ain't worth playing. So do not pirate it. I can see why some would pirate games, but when you can afford it, buy it if you want it.

I would buy it on Steam - I like the fact that all my games are concentraded on one place :)

You will, as already said, just get a "shortcut" on Steam - It'll launch via uPlay but still...

This. I also like having all games in one place. It's Steam and Origin. I don't buy them anywhere else (aside from retail).

Since it doesn't have Steamworks feature and you still require to launch their uPlay client...so yeah, it's worth it.

It's up to you. Does it really matter if the game will be on Steam? Even in the price of a huge discount? I think not.

If you really want to play it right now, go for it, I would prefer steam.
Yes it really requires uPlay to launch but steam is always better, steam track better, show more informations that you can share with your friends and who says that doesn't care about it because requires uPlay to launch probably is trying to trade that free uPlay key for a steam copy of FC3.
