I got scammed for the first time. It wasn't a big deal, just a bundle game.
But It feels kind of unpleasantly, I was too stupid to go first. Everything is fine now.
A little giveaway.

upd:
Thanks to Klinge (who has gifted it to me) I got that game. Thank you guys for support. My spoiled mood went away.
I see that the community is nice for the most part.

Hmm, that user was already on my blacklist, real promising. Sucks about your game. What were you meant to get?

Never been scammed on Steam at least. Elsewhere though, yes I have.

I was hoping it would be something in my list of bundle keys, but no luck.

So if you checked the feedback and it was fine, what's the lesson?

Uh, how was it fine? He was scammed. He mentioned the feedback because his posted a chat log image that mentioned the games.

I don't see this chat log image. All I see is a gif of a cat.

chatlog is in scammers feedback, not here. No calling out rule.

Yeap, found it now. Ok, clearly you don't go first with someone with such a small number of feedback entries. The lesson should be to initially only trade with reputable traders, even if you have to go first, then gain enough rep that you can trade with anyone (requiring some to go first if they are newcomers).

Ugh... Pathetic. The scammer, not you. At least you learned your lesson, take it as that.

Yep. I guess, sometimes there should be a hard lesson. I always readed threads like this and was wondering how naive people are.

Well, at least it's some kind of lesson, like DownwardConcept said. I hope that won't harm your trust to other people to much.

Could it be you mistook the guy who offered you the trade on your trade thread with the one who scammed you. From the chat-logs I had the impression this guy never knew what's going on. While the person that offered you the trade is someone completely different.
In that case never trade when you're in a hurry or let you hurry from someone else. Always take your time to check the person you're trading with.

No, I checked the profiles of both and asked him if they're the same person, just in case.

how did you check profiles? because ofc impersonator would say he's the same person ;)
On the other hand, unlikely that impersonator would go after impersonating 5 rep user while he could impersonate some high-rep.

After he added me I found his profile on SG, followed link from SG to ensure.
After our conversation he changed everything: profile link, profile pic, nickname (typical, I guess).
upd: checked just now, he changed the nickname, pic and url again.

ok, if you followed profile link, you got the right guy ;) SG profile links uses his ID64 which he cannot change no matter how many times he changes his custom URL and nickname ;)
was ust asking because of this "asked him if they're the same person, just in case" part which is common mistake done by anyone who gets scammed by impersonator ;)

Actually, I've asked twice: first was about another guy with different nickname who also wrote in my thread before.
It maybe a coincidence.

It's too bad Humble doesn't tell you who activated your gifts like Indie Gala does. You can go back through all your bundles on Indie Gala and if the person that activated the game had their steam account linked to Indie Gala, it will tell you what steam account the game was activated on and the date and time. If their steam account is not connected to Indie Gala, it will tell you what email address claimed the gift. With humble all you can do is try and open the gift link yourself and it will tell you if it has been used, but it won't tell you who claimed it.

That sucks, but don't blame yourself. It happened to many of us (even if I've never been scammed, maybe because I hardly ever trade :p).
