well that's the case for most of the stuff that they set price to be XXX USD and XXX EUR not specifically to super hexagon. And most stuff in Russian store is like 50% cheaper all the time. Even those new consoles is 499/599 USD vs 499/599 EUR

Well, European countries have unavoidable VAT so that increases the price. Here in Finland it's 25%, which is one of the highest VAT rates.

So you're trying to tell me that my country will receive the VAT when I buy a game? Yeah, right ;)

no, but game makers have to pay money to be allowed to "transport" the game to european people. Like importing costs

Pay money to whom? Because my country sure as hell doesn't receive any of it.

Are you sure? A company can get some serious trouble if they don't forward the VAT. Well, it's proabably only relevant to bigger publishers

It's not just the VAT!

How come some games don't follow the 1:1 price scheme then? They just lose money on European purchases?
How come there are 2 price tiers in Europe, without any connection to VAT rates?
How come the Russian store is super-cheap?

This is mainly artificial segmentation of the market. VAT is a factor and a convenient excuse.
