Yeah, I mean you have that username, and this avatar. You just have to love Monkey Island, don't you?
And for me, first two MI games are among the greatest point-and-click adventures of all times. I still feel that they are extremely enjoyable up to this day. On the other hand, I absolutely didn't like the remastered Special Edition of those games from several years back. The art style was just overly simplistic in my opinion.

Yeah I agree, I have very fond memories of playing the original on the old Amiga amen I was a kid. I haven't tried the remake, but yes the art style isn't great - and from the clips I watched it seemed like Guybrush wasn't himself, did they change his character/personality?

No, the game, all environments, dialog, etcetera are exactly the same. But the new art makes it feel very amateurish. And Guybrush, and pretty much all over characters look kinda, in my opinion, childish. Kind of similar to how they look in the third game - The Curse Of Monkey Island. There is an option to play with an old pixel graphics, though.
