When I try to buy a bundle it says HB gets 30% actually.

The new version hasn't gone live just yet. It activates in "late May". This site (which is linked in the site I originally posted) shows what it'll look like when the new version takes effect. https://blog.humblebundle.com/2021/04/23/a-note-about-sliders-and-our-bundle-pages/

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but apparently it already did.

I knew that lineup seemed vaguely familiar.

Kills any reason or incentive to ever pay more than the set price now. I can see them start raising the set tier prices too. There's also charities that I refuse to give money to and that'll make those bundles highly unlikely to get a purchase if I can't choose the charity.

Well, I remember when it was called Humble Indie Bundle. Then, after some time, it got renamed to Humble Bundle. Now, with this change, I guess they would want to rename it to just Bundle.

I apologize if this isn't news to anybody else, but I only now stumbled on this article (link at the bottom). People have been mentioning it here and there, and so far the consensus (from what I saw) seemed to be something along the lines of "Maybe they're testing something out. Let's wait and see what happens." Well, they've made it official. The sliders are indeed permanently gone, and it defaults to only give 5% to charity (although you can apparently bump it up to 15% if you know what you're doing). Humble gets 10%, and the rest goes to publishers, so it's not like it's a major money grab for IGN.
