I only have played Asylum and City also, but I'd say logically you should play Knight (sequel), then Origins (prequel), then Telltale series. Although I was under the impression Origins is very skippable in general

I started on Arkham Knight, I consider it the best of the Rocksteady games. There's alot of complaints about Knights overuse of the Batmobile, so much so it seems people just parrot what others say.
Myself I found the Batmobile fun but it is sometimes tedious to do the Riddler's stuff with it.
The other main criticism of Knight is poor optimization and bugs from when it originally launched. It's a great game and it runs pretty good even on my low spec PC.
I don't know about the telltale ones, but Origins comes before Asylum. Origins is not as good as the Rocksteady ones.
Arkham Knight is pretty binge worthy imo. So, I would say finish the Rocksteady trilogy.

Chronologically:
Origins
Asylum
AC
AK
but I think playing Origins after AC might be better (you won't get a gameplay downgrade going from Origins to Asylum - the gameplay in the 1st game is a bit more limiting).
Regarding Telltale, I have yet to play them but perhaps play them after AK (I know it's not in chronological order).

i would do origins, then if that vibes with you go to knight, but i would honestly be burnt out on arkham titles by then so i'd play telltale season 1 and 2, then arkham knight after those to give yourself a break from open worlds. origins is underrated and is barely under the quality of the first 2 arkham games. i dont know of any arkham origins dlc worth playing.

The Telltale games are pretty much their own universe and can be played independently of the Arkham series. The story is self-contained, and they have their own spins on many of the characters and their origins. I very much enjoyed them, but they are not your standard Batman fare. They are much more focused on Bruce Wayne as person, and the mental and emotional dilemmas he endures in trying to be Batman. Progress from Season 1 carries over into Season 2, and the story can progress VERY differently depending on your choices. Great stuff if you are looking for drama and storytelling. Maybe not so much if you just want to pound goons into a bloody mass on the pavement, though.
Origins seems to get a lot of flack for "not being as good" as the games made by Rocksteady. That's debatable, but it doesn't at all mean that the game isn't good. I played it over the summer after years of skipping it over hearing those sorts of comments and had a blast with it. I honestly am not sure where all the negativity comes from. The combat was fun, some of the boss fights were brutal, and there was plenty of sneaking and detecting to do. It's a prequel to the other Arkham games, so it doesn't really matter when you play it (especially if you already played Asylum and City).
I honestly haven't gotten around to Knight yet, so I can't comment there. I also heard tons of negativity around this one when it released, but from what I understand it has since been patched up.

Honestly, all Arkham games are amazing imho. I have enjoyed the hell out of them while playing them by release date even though Origins is somehow skippable as a prequel to Asylum.
Only Origins DLC worth your time is then Cold, Cold Heart. The rest are adding nothing or absolute minimum to the story

WOW! You're right. What an oversight on my part!
I have Lego Batman 1, 2, & 3. I've only poked around a bit in LB1. If I remember correctly, 2 & 3 are better because there's voice acting, too?
Where would you put the Legos in the play sequence?

As far as I know, the Telltale series is totally independent from the Arkham series.
I played the Arkham games in the order they came out, namely:
and I do recommend this order.
While Origins is a notch below the others, I still found it worthwhile and fun. And I found Knight really excellent (I guess the patches fixed nearly all bugs), almost as good as the first two, with the only annoyance being some of the Riddler's stuff in it.
I also played the first Telltale Series, and it was also very good, though a completely different style and story. I understand the second is even better, but I have not played it yet.
All of that said, I do get a bit burnt out when I play lots of similar games back-to-back (see the 2-3 year gaps between my Arkham runs?). If you are like me, you might want to play Origins, switch to something else (Telltale maybe?), then come back to Knight later.
Cheers!
P.S.: I do not have Blackgate nor the DLCs for Origins, and I did not miss them.

Lego batman 1 doesn't have voiceovers but my sibling really enjoyed it anyway and said there is humor in gestures etc. (I guess--similar to Lego Pirates of the Caribbean--you don't need to know the backstory to enjoy the game).
Lego batman 2 & 3 have voice-overs, iiuc. 3 Definitely does.

If you played Arkham Asylum and City you might as well continue with Origins. It's the next in order of release and it would be pretty daunting to go from a technically more impressive game like Knight back to Origins. Knight also gives a kind finality to the series so going from the end of the story to the start again kind of defeats most of its impact. The telltale games you can play them whenever you want since they're not connected with the Arkham games, totally different universe.

Mechanically speaking Origins is very similar to City except its not as polished and there's some jank in the collision detection of certain parts, the new detective missions are a nice addition that really fits tho, story wise it's the strongest one in the whole series as far as I'm concerned.
Arkham Knight is a bit weird, the story feels all over the place but at least the conclusion is satisfying as an ending to all the plot threads opened by the other three games, the gameplay is like if they took two good games that really don't want to be together and then forced them to share one map. Basically the Batmobile should have been it's own game, it's really enjoyable to play but it can rarely shine because of the constraints of an established series whose gameplay simply doesn't mesh well with it. I just want someone to make "Bat-tank: the game" even if it has to lose the Batman license for it to happen.

Release order is perfect as a play order, so:
Asylum > City > Origins > Knight
As for telltales they are separate from Arkham series, so play telltales before Arkham or after .. unless you want to take a break from the action packed Arkham series by playing telltale

Origins has been cheap (like $5 AUD) many times, a shame you didn't pick it up and play sooner while the multiplayer was still working (actually you can get it to work again with some simple modifications but I don't know if you will find any matches). Despite the multiplayer being somewhat one sided (heroes rarely ever won), I think it was the best outcome they could possibly have done, it wasn't perfect but it was pretty damn fun.

Play Origins immediately. Not only is it a prequel to Asylum and City, IMO I think it's the best in the entire Arkham series.

Release order should be fine, as in Asylum, City, Origins, Knight.
I think this is preferable as each title builds upon the mechanincs of the previous (even though Origins was made by a different studio, the same general rule applies). The telltale series is a different storyline.

Thanks, everyone.
Part of my thinking was to play the best one last, to end on a high note. I'll probably play Origins next. With slightly mixed reviews for both Origins and Knight, I'll use release order to break the tie.
Maybe: Origins, TelltaleS1S2, Knight, Lego1-3
Maybe: Origins, TelltaleS1S2, Lego1-3, Knight
Maybe: Origins, TelltaleS1, Lego1-3, TelltaleS2, Knight
Again, thanks.

If you wanna go chronologically in-universe Origins then Knight. In fact, if I remember correctly the Origins DLC are set before the main game, so them first.
The Telltale ones do their own thing. Doesn't matter when.

If you're going to play Origins, my tip: locate the save game folder for it and make regular backups of it yourself.
To this day, it has unpatched bugs that can basically make your game unwinnable (including a rather infamous one where you can fall through the floor, just before it autosaves) or lock you out of certain achievements. Having to replay long stretches is not fun, especially not because one of the hardest bosses in the series appears early.
Aside from the bugs it's OK. I've replayed it more than Knight, even (if only because one of the achievements requires it).

I'm looking for advice from gamers and Batman fans.
I greatly enjoyed Arkham Asylum and Arkham City when I played them years ago. I've owned Arkham Knight for a long time, but I haven't played it yet. I got the Telltale stories from Prime a few months ago. I only recently got my hands on Arkham Origins, because I waited for a really low price.
Does anyone here have advice on what order to play these last games?
Batman: The Telltale Series
Batman: The Telltale Series - The Enemy Within (Season 2)
Batman Origins
Batman Origins (DLCs?)
Batman Arkham Knight
Suggestions of other Batman titles are also welcome, of course!
