I hated the Big Picture keyboard. Much prefer the one used in the PSP browser.

The interface looks simple, the rest of the tv commercial just looks unrealistic... Maybe someone should do a slob pizza eater tv commercial spin off for them.

I generally use a keyboard for my Ps3 if I need to send a message to someone. The new features look pretty cool though!

Social network in PSN (or whatever is it now) with a gamepad instead of steam /w a keybord. Seems worthy.

Both PS3 and PS4 support keyboard and mouse, so if you are really into text chat just use that.
