If you want to make the copy/pasting format easier, I played with it a bit and found the trick was to put the latter part in italics. Bold probably works as well. So just do * on either side.

So my birthday's coming up this weekend. Since I'm a sucker for tradition, that means I have a good reason to host a giveaway.
Then I rewatched the original Robocop a few weeks ago, and since then I have the phrase "I'd buy that for a Dollar!" stuck in my head. So I thought I'd roll with that and spend what budget I have on sales & games that were available for a dollar or less. (Euro actually, but whatever).
I sitll have a bit of steam wallet left, that's where the poll comes in ;)
