Haha I will never forget the sound of a dial-up modem. Thanks for the giveaways, Seagull7. :)

It's funny to think that the internet was something you used to open up an application for, wait for the modem to dial and connect, cringe at how loud the modem sound was, wait for the connection to be established, then open the web browser, and finally wait for the page to slowly load.
And now it's something that we take for granted - just pull out a phone and instantly get what you're after. It's crazy how far technology has come in the last few decades.

Because it is fun to discuss other angles of things... and because I like to lower the total amounts entering any public giveaways I do (all 3 per year) to increase the odds, if you get my drift:
Guess there are good things. I can only see a downward spiral as society implodes on itself. Guess we all forgot what happened with Rome, but this next one is going to be bigger looks like the bomb's timer is around 2035 - 2040, when population will have outnumbered total planetary resources needed for humanity to support itself right around then at the current rate of human consumption/waste/destruction
I love it, and I also despise many things about it. Attitudes, values, important morals. All seem mostly gone. Decaying. Depravity. Bad ones are appreciated, and greed is applauded (fancy playing spades anyone?) and hoarding stuff is looked upon as an achievement, rather than a mental illness. Mammon is winning - Samael smiles. Get out of the dark. When the light is revealed, the shadows appear. Find out! See what is really there. Underneath! We must dig deeper. Yaldabaoth is understood for the Demiurge it is. The archons do not play games with me as they used to. The blind see, but they are only seeing maya, as one sees water in a barren desert. Iblis controls their destiny as one gives their True Self away.
Good times, but a lot of denial and refusal to see what is important in the world. We waste enough now just in my home country of America to feed the planet about 4 times over based on approximations! Why is anyone starving? Anywhere? Easy. Take food. Load food. Ship food. People fucking eat! What am I missing? Same with everything else that is really plaguing the world. People are purposefully creating road blocks. There are no accidents here. You are being hunted. I ask this about many other problems we could easily take care of. I'll bring up a for instance. If churches are good and helpful, then why are their communities impoverished around them when they're collecting tax free money like it's going out of style! At least the church is squeaky clean! ^_^
We're talking motherlodes of money here! Like, Illuminati levels. Possibly (most definitely) trillions per year, and not shit changing. Anywhere. Not really... Just another band-aid. If I had a trillion, I could change a hell of a lot of things around me in my fucking communities. So why don't these rich assholes step up and contribute? Oh, they are too busy creating jobs?! Fuck 'em. I see it. Debate it all day, and I can just walk into the streets of my country and prove you wrong. My counter-arguments would not be in words, but I would take pictures of the poverty around me in a so-called "developed" nation. Facts, not opinions. Real shit.... Not for all of us, but only those few rich pricks. These rich people who could really make a difference and fix my country only leech and don't do shit for anybody. Only numero uno in mind! How's it going in your country?! Is every single person eating there, and do they have food, water, and shelter? If not, why not? They should get those things. Maybe if some of these people had them, their talents could be used in society to help it become a better one. It's only about competition. Not about being together and all being part of something great. Only a big pyramid scheme here.
The masses are duped and soulless husks that walk around mindlessly completing the daily quests that are... ahem uhm.... asked of them to do each day. If they are a good little doggie and train well, they will get treats. Bad doggies don't get treats. They get kicked out on the cold streets. Sorry, but you must obey or else you get crushed in my land. Bad sheeple and doggies get abused and removed from regular society. The land of opportunity is now the land of struggle. There are no real programs to help anyone get off of the system. The system wants those people so they can claim extras and get more money than they are giving out from the government (which working people have to pay, and also disabled people etc. have to pay back as well, so this is not free money - it's a GD LOAN stolen from working people!!). Hah, then ill-informed people here with richie agendas think poor people are sucking the lifeblood out of the economy. Wtf... is wrong with humans. It's simple observation to see that's not really happening. Interest will always be the demon of a barter system. People should reach a cap, and then pay interest into the system that got them rich in the first place. Why should I have to pay tribute to them in the form of extra debts and tax on things? Why isn't there a luxury tax for certain things that are not necessary, and have more important items become free? Why is medical so high in America? We are getting robbed again by Big Pharma. Those poor people that are the so-called "source of debt" are actually trying to work of interest that is created out of thin air, with no actual goods or services rendered - so it creates inflation, and stagnates things. Most poor people are poor because they cannot work because they are disabled, so they are stuck in a trap they cannot get out of. Make sense? GOOD!
Again, we as a society could easily take care of most of the other basic problems the world has... many times over. Nobody should be going without the basics on the entire planet. Period. Anyone that believes in anything loving should also refuse to accept that anyone is going without a basic need met. It is called empathy and compassion. Any sort of "just" God would be disgusted with today's idea of how to use it's associated name for the kinds of things that are going on behind the scenes in a lot of these places I am sure of it! Wouldn't you? The world is a shithole. Period. Take a look around you! Why not put that money into something useful instead of throwing it into pits of nothingness. I think the key was to help the least... right? The least don't have the gas to make it to church.
The least are too sick to be there. Why don't they go to these people like their heroes in the religious books they love did? Throwing money at your pastor is just feeding mammon, plain and simple.
On wars, and on the hatred of other people: If the strong just hurt other strong people and make them all weaker as a whole; doesn't that nullify the whole point? I want to make my brothers and sisters, all of them (not a single one missed because of sex, age, race, creed, ideals, beliefs, etc., since my personal beliefs have every human as equals) happy. I start with the lowest, and I raise them up to meet me, then both of us can climb higher together. If people are removed, the planet should recover some. I just hope we are eradicated soon enough for the planet to get a few good years in how it was meant to be... without germ-ridden human viruses invading and sucking the life out of it. The Atma of each of us should have been and should always be embraced and not trampled over.
Lots of taking, and not much giving. Love went down the tubes, if it was ever there for most people. War being promoted and supported. Who would want that? Ever? Under any circumstance? Arrogance. Why am I better than that person? They should die because I am right? Well now, I think we are beginning to peel the onion back. One more layer removed. Still a long way to go. Anyone advocating that sort of violence might as well commit the murder yourself! It's just... pathetic. Good luck in the end times, if one actually believes in that sort of thing, yet thinks anything one could imagine as God or a Higher Power, etc. of any sort would actually be happy that they chose to murder the Creator's creations. Hypocrisy.
If you support war, go fight yourselves instead of acting high and mighty and correct about every little thing in the perfect world you live in. You might change your tune about what you think of war if you get onto a real battlefield where your life is on the line. I don't think it's right to kill. Sorry. Only if you are about to die, and you have no other alternatives... There is no room for killing in the Pleuroma. You will see when you become filled. It's not sight, but it is almost like it. An extra-sensory sorta thing. Maybe somebody will get this whole ramble, but I doubt it. I don't think like most anymore. I have split away from Mammon's will, and I will choose my fight. Now is not that time. I am not deceived by the deceiver. The mirror.
I lost a large part of myself over time, and with that came a lot of understanding of things in my own way. I live a personal hell, and I have an agenda directly related to the military. It has colored my perceptions greatly as I became more seasoned over time in my searches. This is simply what I see, in the land where the blind lead the blind. Unfortunately the one-eyed man has not shown up. People forget too easily what life's all about.
Gimme a P! Gimme a T! Gimme an S! Gimme a D!

Thanks! I wish you a great day/night as well! Have a good one! That's (the giveaway) supposed to be kinda hidden, so it'd be nice if you could trim your own excessive reply. I'll have to delete my giveaway otherwise.
No witch-hunting (madman... sorry) either or calling out somebody. I don't wish to be slandered as a crazy man here.

Most of the second paragraph is frill, for example. And most of the entire post is rambling. It's a Sunday sermon where most people are nodding off or playing on their phones, and a few hardcore zealots saying Amen even though they have no clue what they're hearing but they hear a few keywords they know. Get to the point, man. Throw away the purple prose and the Illuminati and Mammon and all the rest of this fodder and put your point across.

Sorry you cannot see or hear what it is. I like writing this way. I apologize if it grates. I think they are important words to get the point across correctly... I don't know what to say. Thanks for expressing how you feel about it? Nobody will read this anyway hardly, so who cares? Why does it bother you? I would search that. Might be blocking some shadows, but hey, it's not my life. Just a suggestion.

I hope this doesn't seem too strange to anyone reading this, but it is from the heart. I was born right at the end of the 80s. The 90s and 00s were a time between when a lot of the online structures people defined themselves by such of social media, gaming, connectivity were formed. We had things like DOS, early internet, lycos and askjeeves(early search engines), early fan sites via things like geocities, google, myspace(never my jam), limewire and kazaa to share p2p files runescape(still going on today, the way its evolved is interesting), rise of the robots and demo disks, not knowing what to do when we actually got the internet working. It feels so strange being able to remember these weird inbetween times when we were gaining the ability to easily communicate with each other, learn who we shared these weird interests with (anime-waves doin some stellar work) and how to gain info easily on anything is such a bizarre feeling, like when humankind is making advancements which will be taken for granted in the future, even if technically it was within our grasp even earlier. I haven't been giving away much recently, been taking for granted somewhat our members generosity in making pc games much easier to obtain to everyone else, so here's some giveaways to make you happier and me express my feelings about how special a time we live in.
TLDR Take some giveaways and appreciate the era we all live, use the fact we finally know how much other people around the world suffer motivate you to improve the lives of at least those around you.. Giveaways are level 1, just give away a little to access these, it's not too much to ask. All giveaways finish on Wednesday morning 3am UK time.
