Free weekend game "Existing in your account" After the weekend is over?

Try to resync your account if it has not been done since the end of the free week-end. :)

Wait until it dissapears from you recent played games list and sync again then.

If you played it you will have to wait 2 weeks for it to disappear from the recently played list.

A guy told me once that uninstalling steam from your computer fixes that problem (deleting everything relatioanted to steam)
Before doing that, sync all your games with steamcloud

I guess that must work.

I;m guessing deleting local data would work and like people said, wait two weeks.

LEARN TO SEARCH THE FORUMS.

Just keep re syncing your account every day until it takes it it off your games list. It is a steampowered problem, telling steamgifts you own the game for several weeks after the free weekend. There is nothing steamgifts can do about this.

If you played it, resync after two weeks. If you didn't played it, resync after the free weekend ends.

I'd spoken to loko before about this problem. There is currently no work around that will stop this. Either they can let EVERYONE into this giveaway, or block it up for everyone temporarily.

Can't fix it properly. the only thing i see, is if there is a free weekend. disable making these giveaways, and autosync everyone once it ends.
