Hyped for this one?
Maybe because IGN is angry? ...I wish it was $16.

It's very possible, I looked at the price of this and the games in the bundle and considering there's 4 rebundles, I didn't understand where the $22 came from but it made me lean towards it being likely the $0 choice was by mistake or was supposed to be just for canceled users or something. Or maybe they just got a bad deal on the games in this bundle, or they saw fanatical is selling low tier games at $3.33 each so they wanted to even out the formula.

Eventually it turns around again and affects the bundle price... XD. Very reasonable interpretation.

^^ IGN is a big company, so you have to be big-hearted.... Back when I didn't know about Humble Choice, I happened to sign up for a new member account with a one-month free trial, and I've been subscribing annually for almost 5 years now.... Usually, people who get it for free can become big customers later on.... Of course, you have to be firm with people who maliciously misuse free coupons....

Expensive considering more then half the games are rebundles.

I really want the Medium, but for that price, not really worth it as I own like half the bundle

Glad to see Potion Craft in a bundle, but... too expensive. Maybe this'll open up a trade opportunity.
Comment has been collapsed.
Really good bundle, but i can't justify spending that price when i already own half the games. Skip it is.

Lot of bangers in this bundle. I have around 250 hours in Wartales, personally. Great game. Probably 70ish hours in Slay the Spire.
Comment has been collapsed.
I wanted to know this too. Despite being verified, seems there are unresolved performance issues, making this a no buy for me.
Comment has been collapsed.
I played using k/m, so I don't really know about its Deck compatibility. Sorry.
I would add that I did play BG 3 on the Deck and it was certainly playable but not as ideal as k/m. My own expectation for Wartales would have been the same if I was going to play it on the Deck. There's a certain amount of wonkiness to playing turn-based grid combat games using a hand-held/gamepad, at least IMO and based on my own experience.
Comment has been collapsed.
People keep complaining like every game needs to cost no more than $2-$3 and even then it needs to be a masterpiece to satisfy their expectations.
Comment has been collapsed.
Well these aren't physical games, they're just codes to a non-transferrable license, so their inherit value is very low by default. And considering the Steam games market is vastly over saturated with games atp people are only going to care about the cream of the crop unless they're trying to pad out their library with stuff they know they'll never play.
Comment has been collapsed.
You pay for the experience and somewhere some devs put time and effort to bring that experience to you.
Comment has been collapsed.
Not all experiences are good, and not all effort is worth reward. Most people work hard for their money, and don't have an infinite amount, so they must be discerning about how they hand it out day to day or else they'll quickly find themselves broke.
Comment has been collapsed.
Yea, that's why you shouldn't add games indiscriminately to your account. You should just add what you think you may like. If you're willing to spend money in a game you think is not a good experience and not an effort worth is reward just because it's cheap. Then you'll never save enought money to buy what you like. And the vicious cycle continues.
Comment has been collapsed.
Totally agree, however we at least need to try and support the ones that do create something worth experiencing. Quality usually comes with a cost and people, probably due to the fact were spoiled rotten with bundles for years, decided that for $2-$3 they are entitled to masterpieces. If a game is not quite there and the bundle-split value is higher all hell breaks loose, despite still being in the 85%-90% off zone, which is still really cheap.
As a side note, I also don't like re-bundled titles and lately they keep pushing the envelope with this one (both fanatical and Humble), It really depends what's in the other half (or in this case the lesser half) and if those justify the asking price, which is kind of subjective, because it's strictly tied each person's preferences and their available funds. Fanatical tried to solve this with the BYOB model, however it feels that everything above Platinum Bundles in terms of pricing, sends people into riot mode. And even those are only tolerated when really good titles are included.

Slay the Spire and Old World were available both on choices, which means 10€ for 8 games (and the Spire game was on the ukraine one too, but I'm not even gonna count that for your sake). Art of Rally was in a bundle of 7 games for 11,40€ last year and Black Book has been bundled a trillion times in way cheaper bundles. This bundle is 8 games for 19,40, which leaves the total of each game for like 2.4 something €. So this means HALF of the bundle is completely overpriced.
The other half of the bundle is 2 indie games that are here 85% discounted and the other 2 are the highlight here, as most people will want this bundle for The Medium (a game that had HORRIBLE performance issues even months after release) or Wartales (a smaller-scale RPG from the Northgard people).
I will never understand why do you feel the need to defend Humble like you are their personal lawyer and acting like you know more than any of us with comments like this every other thread. These are digital codes, it's literally a string of 15 characters. If you want these games to have better payment, give us physical copies of the stuff we buy and with no chance of being revoked or exhausted for years when we buy them.
Comment has been collapsed.
Kinda yes, kinda no?
They have enough games not to want to buy a specific game, but it would be nice to have either to own, or play at a later date.
But they want discounts that are so deep, that it would be stupid not to get. Until we don't get to that point, it's just "too expensive".
So it's not too expensive for its value, but too expensive as too far from the crazy good deal.
...and while I do consider some games, and some of their values art, it's not my problem how much time and effort it takes to make them. I buy it when it costs as much as I'm willing to pay. I'm already paying one of the highest € prices on Steam from a country that has a fraction of the income as other countries in the EU. If the publishers don't consider a financial issue that Germany's average salary is 4 times as much as my country's (which is already skewed, median is a lot lower), and charge me the same, then I also don't care about them as much as I possibly could. It's not my job to support an industry that ignores, me above my means :)
Comment has been collapsed.
If you're talking just about games made by big companies then I have not much to argue about your point of:
It's not my job to support an industry that ignores, me above my means :)
Is totally fair when talking about those big companies. But if you don't take the time to support indie developers in time to time then you are perpetuating that sentiment of ignoring those that don't directly benefit you.
Now, more specific to this bundle:
They have enough games not to want to buy a specific game, but it would be nice to have either to own, or play at a later date.
But they want discounts that are so deep, that it would be stupid not to get. Until we don't get to that point, it's just "too expensive".
If the bare minimum for a game to not be talk as too expensive is a price soo cheap is dumb to not get. Then you're setting an ecosystem that will constantly talk trash about most sustainable deals. Witch you said. Is not your job, but neither is your job recycling, but I hope you do, because I would like a better future for everybody. It is good to try to avoid toxic environments, even if the toxic waste wont affect you directly.

Amazing, Euros(?) pretending to know a lot about USAID and believing Bono. Even if it's true (which it's not) why does USA always have to bail everyone out? Figure it out.
Why even talk politics on gaming forums? Can't help yourselves can you. Is this Reddit?

"Why even talk politics" after posting the most ignorant political statement I've seen in at least... well, actually, only about 3hrs, but still. Ironic and super hilarious.

Oh look, UK person. I see you quoted part of what I said and not the whole sentence. That last part was pretty important.
Tell me in this great echo chamber you got here how I was wrong and what was so ignorant about what I said. Or, just drop it and move on with your day.

Hey, another "Euro" here and look I have data that contradicts your claim that the US "must" (or is) bailing out everyone. And the source isn't Bono.

Happy now? Can we keep talking about politics even if it's challenging your MAGA mindset? Thanks.

Good, give it to all those kids dying of aids now!
BTW here's the context you left out:

Your added "context" actually takes context away that was already provided by my source. But hey, MAGA must do what puts MAGA first, right? Pathetic.
Edit: And funny enough, the people who made your chart also know better. Bwahahaha.
However, this only shows one part of the picture, as the largest economies are likely to be the largest donors. Another way of looking at the largest donors are by how much each country gave as a share of their gross domestic product.
Comment has been collapsed.
I don't understand. You tell us the US should not be donating to help other countries, then you show us a graph that shows why it is vital and why it's going to have catastrophic consequences that the US don't anymore and you think it's an argument in your favor?
Your wallet and your economy is in the drain because of the idiotic isolationist steps your idiot in chief has taken since he's been in office. Not because of the 0.22% of Gross National Income your country is giving to humanitarian aid (which is far behind most rich countries in case anyone was curious)
Comment has been collapsed.
Funny/Depressing enough, while trump went on an agenda against anyone who doesn't support him in USAID programs, he didn't cut funding to his rich friends, or religious Christian spreading, or anti trans programs, but went on a crusade on his personal beliefs. Is that how your tax money should be spent, another man telling you what to do with it or you'd rather pool it and help everyone in the community? Sure there were some shady programs that deserved to be cut(which was what doge was meant for, and it failed at because it avoided programs based on personal friendship choice), and so, it's shown that the impact DOGE has made is minimal if not at all or even negative in some cases financially, while it has destroyed education, health, retirement, job infrastructure. Over the next few years, we'll lose much more reinvesting to relaunch those programs, because they were necessary since we're the closest to Idiocracy. Basically we played ourselves so that trump and elon feel like they were friend for a bit, just to argue now like two babies.
Oh and btw, in his first 100 days of office he's spent 40 off site, and in his first month of presidency he spent estimated over $10 mil in golfing, and around $45 to $60 mil for security on his 40 days vacationing during his 100 days of presidency. Oh I forgot to say this is tax payers money, and not a single program the speaker has shown or list of programs will ever even come close to this amount. Add this to the tariffs and him and his friends doing puts and calls using insider trading since they know trump will taco(trump always chickens out), then go back in then go back out, and no one else knows because they're not part of it. We deserve it because 50% of this country's population likes him for the dumbest reasons, like him saying he didn't take a paycheck his first term(like he wasn't gonna be paid 500k every year after his term, boo hoo he's struggling financially poor fella). He must be such a nice fella thinking of the little guy. Oh did I forget to say after this term he collects another 500k every year for the rest of his life for doing damage to the country and world? Congrats, we got played.
TLDR: He knows more about politics than you, if you can't even discern that Trump is an evil guy.
PS: Keep in mind, it was Trump who decided to cut the pandemic warning program who had identified 160 potential corona viruses, only three months before we got hit with covid. You can't make that up.
There's some information that a lot of people willingly ignore, and deflect into how the US shouldn't care for others or something. It ain't like the US gonna fix the homeless problem, or the vet problem, or provide women's care, maternity leave, proper affordable healthcare, dental and vision for everyone. Like who are we lying to? We run on capitalism and sacrificing the poor, not on helping others and building a community.
I wont make any other replies to this, so feel free to tell your story, I don't want to make this into some long heated argument because if you don't get it, I know how conservatives are, and it's not like I can help someone who doesn't want to even look at public information. Take care.

I see a whole lot of Trump hate and nothing about 300k people dying from DOGE. Was a good attempt I guess.

Yeah, I know the article. Same one Bono used on Joe Rogan, probably the only reason you've heard of this. That's not proof. It's a model. Like weather models it's a projection and highly speculative. It's also one person. Hardly proof.
What you're doing is a fallacy: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Argument_from_authority

why does USA always have to bail everyone out? Figure it out.
That truly shows the ignorance of your statement. "USA" doesn't have to "bail everyone out". "USA" lives in the same world the rest of us do. And when "USA" stops caring what happens outside "USA", it all comes down to bite "USA" in the end:
Terrorism, drug cartels, COVID, 9/11... all these are examples of "USA" dropping the ball.
Whether you and your moron in chief like it or not, the world doesn't care about imagined lines drawn on a map. What goes around comes around.
Why even talk politics on gaming forums?
Because your idiotic "politics" of fear, hate and self interest are ruining the world for everyone.

"the world doesn't care about imagined lines drawn on a map"
I'd just like to say that this statement is the core of my political identity. Borders are arbitrary lines drawn on a map. All they do is indicate which oligarchs control which people. It's a real shame that the 8 billion of us still allow this.
Comment has been collapsed.
You would think the whole Covid debacle would have at least taught people that, if nothing else.
What happens at the other end of the world, and on the news, will not stay there. It will find us, one way or another.
If you can't help others because it's the right thing to do, do it because it's in everyone's best interest, including yours.
We are still paying, as a global community for Reagan's era of isolationism. Reagan himself recognized it was foolish. And here we are again.
I think that's how History should be taught in school. What we did or didn't do, and what happened next.
