I dont really know most of the games on the monthlies. Ones I recognise with a story are like. A short hike, hidden folks, old man journey, acceleration of suguri 2 is free and pretty quick. So... :) At last, I play through White Night, and get the Full Moon ending, and Normal one, later. ( But, either, I felt like... °_" ' , just after that. ) Still don't know if I'll try a "White Night" speedrun to get the last achievement.

The God Paradox is definitely a puzzle game :)
The HLTB times of Sakura Dungeon and Millie look like you have still a lot to do there to beat the games so why don't you just add them again to this month challenge? Millie is also a puzzle game and Sakura Dungeon seems to have health bars and potions so it should be a "game with a limited amount of life" :)

Don't have many wins unplayed left right now, would Wandersong fit under "Great Soundtrack"? Since it's a music based game, though from what I see, it lacks the tag.

So I checked and yes, this game has that tag. However, it doesn't appear until you click the little "+" button in the store page, which I always thought before was just meant to add new tags and not check all the tags that people already added to the game, and not just the few shown.
I guess that explains why I always felt that there were so few tags added for most games. I feel kind of dumb now.

Also, it's kinda hard to check all those tags manually, so I suggest you to use really helpful website for that purpose. Mouse already mentioned it on main post. Just check out "Steam Library Filter" in "Useful links:" category.
Website itself is pretty simple to use. Just enter your Steam ID, press "Load Library" and after games list was loaded, you be able to sort them by tag. For example: you have 28 games with "Great soundtrack" tag.

Well, yeah, I learned right now that games in fact do have more tags than they seem to. I had gone with Wandersong as it looked to me like the only one it could fit, and yet I was dubious it would, hence my thoughts for going with Necrodancer, but I was clearly mistaken.

I think Thief could qualify under Puzzle game (since each mission is a puzzle to figure out) or Survival (as you're very frail and each mission requires being sneaky to survive). I think there may also be a religious order that features prominently in the game.

Also read the new rules and i'm really confused when you say " but you can go thank that one person who has 10 unactivated wins and apparently that is fine with SG rules to still run around like", I thought it was not possible to have so many unactivated wins, have someone reported him? I elected to play this game for March as well. A word of advice - DO NOT touch the clover puzzle buttons until you have recovered all the missing pieces. Doing so can put the puzzle into an unsolvable state. I spent over an hour trying to solve it before learning about this bug and was forced to start a new game to get past that part.

As far as I'm aware you can submit a game for the event as long as it not like 90% finished. And since you said you finished only 1st game and still have to finish 2nd, I believe you can submit Shenmue for this month as well, if you want to (game has "Great soundtrack" tag in steam store). Just make sure that you correctly fill in the "Stats before the start of the event" field :)

Krystopia was going to be my entry whether the Women's or Pi theme won; a female protagonist in a sci-fi, puzzle adventure suited both.

Beat it! I'd put it in the solid "pretty much okay" category. I don't really get the love for it but I'd consider 100%ing it if one of the secret achievements wasn't eye-rollingly bad (not hard, bad, literally the same as another one but you have to do something else with it too, and throughout literally the whole game. AND there's no way to tell!).
Oh, I'd like to request that for completing a month there's some leniency on or consideration for long games (like a minimum time limit). There's some great long games I'd like to start but I'm not going to do it for this event because there's no way I'd be able to put 100 hours or whatever into it in a month for some of these games.

I had the same problem with the Higurashi VN and thought the slice of life scenes just dragged on, but I think those were necessary there. I probably just like my slice of life to stay in the fun novels instead of the serious ones.

I couldn't think Higurashi without comedy. It just suits in my opinion. But you may be right about majority of "serious" VNs. Sometimes those events just not fit in the story or too irrelevant, I agree.

Agreed with Higurashi though, I probably just thought those scenes were way too long. I've only read the first one so far though. I thought the anime had a much better balance between the fun and the not-so-fun.

The story just gets sillier in later installments like game tournaments, curry cook off but at the same time I would say the mystery behind it all is more serious in later ones too. I actually like those scenes in both devil on g-string and higurashi since without them you just don't get attached to people. You just see them as being horrible people or bland or whatever they end up being without the inbetween parts. However I do get why you wouldn't want the slice of life parts when you are waiting ages for the truth to be revealed

Haven't read VNs yet but I understand it may be slower than anime, manga was kinda slower too. But probably, like cece said, the slice of life parts getting shorter when the story advences. Though it already has different parts and the reader wouldn't understand the mystery until Hanyuu's parts. Maybe it can be little boring because you know the story? Perhaps I will feel the same.

I kinda have a request tho :) I honestly think your site is very useful and easy to use and i would love to use it just to see my progress. I personally think the BLAEO website is hard to use and lacks handiness.
Currently, you delete non-SG wins even if i already played one SG win before and it makes sense.
So, i was wondering if it would be possible to add a button maybe, "not for the event" or "out of event" or something else button for those games, so you wouldn't need to verify them / waste your time.
What do you think?

It was designed to hold even non-"Play a game you won" events, because the site has "Event Maker" role which will allow you to create events and manage only them. However, your use-case isn't really supported to be honest. It's possible to create just one event to track all played games despite they are SG wins or not, but page will be overflooded soon and will be laggy.
Have you tried to contact BLAEO support to give them ideas which will make their site better? I know, they improve slowly, but still.

How about creating one event per month? I mean, it is the good part actually. I loved the fact that i can ender old threads to see what i played that month. It wouldn't be that good if there would be only one event for the whole giveaways.

Nope. I just tried to use it 1 or 2 times then leave it. It needs a complete remake, otherwise not my style.

What I think is even more interesting about that feature is that it also tracks how long you played that month. So you can see "oh, I played this for 30 hours in January and 20 hours in February"
