New site opening [obbligatory GA inside u.u]

I opened just now a new game review site,
it would be nice to have your opinion, suggestion or disapproval, xD

suggestions:

  • the one review you postet is a bit short
  • add some gameplay videos, and selfmade screenshots (that are the same screenshots that we can see on the gamepage)
  • later add categorys (steam games, drm free games, origin, xbox etc) and genres (action, shooter...) (there are allready tags but they don't catch the eye)
  • link directly to the review on frontpage. now i see a picture of Anxiety but have to click on "reviews" on top of the page...
  • your page is about reviews but the first thing in your menu are giveaways...
  • if you want to make giveaways (we all love them) don't use Gleam and stuff where your users have to add so much data (facebook, steam, mail, twitter). you can raffle by yourself from comments under a post or use steamgifts and a steamgroupe
  • use another header. the blood on your name just seems wrong

first of all, thanks to all the suggestion,
1) ok...for the next review I try to be a little more specific, it's my first try and the game in not so long, I dunno what to say anymore...xD
2) the videos is the next step, I have to buy a nicer pc for this...mine is a lil bit shitty...xD
3) yeah, got it, now unfortunately i don't have the time...I change it in a couple hour :)
4) I thought I did, fixed it, thanks :)
5) I think you're right, fixed it either
6) i know that but it's the only way that i could make the giveaways viral and get more views on the site for the moment :(
7) I want to change my logo, but I'm just so bad at create images >.< I'll see what I can do :)

to 6) do you want that people just enter your site for the giveaways? if not, try the comments thing and build a community. let people talk to you and not just an anonymus click thing.

you can still post your giveaway on the steampage of the game, in youtubetopics or something

btw. maybe feedback sound a bit harsh but it shouldn't :)

yep...i know, the comments are allowed on any review and there is a forum section even if at the moment is totally empty...xD
Oh, and I have created a facebook social page too, anyone can chat with me on anything not only games ;)
and no problem for how you write the thing, I was the first to say that I accept any kind of advice :p

as a matter of fact I want to thank you for your help :)

I insert the genres (I'll add more when I will serve) i think the review is better here and I change the blood in a blue glow...

@1 if yyou want to write actual reviews you have to go into details. Give arguments. Saying "it's not bad, but nothing special" and moving out is not enoug. You should argument why you think so. Give examples, comparisions etc.
@2 Then make your own screenshots. Make shitloads of screenshots each playthrough and pick the best ones. If you want to be reviewer you cannot post promotional pictures from game page only - as they often give wrong impression. Promotional screenies always show only best parts of the game, are often polished and do not represent actual product. Using them in review gives false impression about a game. And why would anyone bother reading not fully sincere review?
@6 even if you get a few more views this way - is it worth it this way? It will drive more traffic for a short period of time, but at the other hand will leave every user who came to you with a bad impression. They will come to your site, but in their memory it will remain associated with spamming their Twitter / FB wall, and you should want them to memorize you for quality of your work, not for having to spam to get a game.

1) yes, you're fully right...probably I still have to learn a lot of things regard the reviews, thanks for this help, I'll treasure :)
2) the screen are all mine, I swear...xD i get a screen every 10 seconds and put the best on the site >.<
6) I thought it might be a good idea give more point for share with friends to increase the traffic on my site, since I know that the spam on facebook or twitter can be really annoying I don't add this option to get point as you can see, the only thing I want is to log-in with steam account (just to know at who give the key), give point everyday only for login, and 1 other point for sharing...
I don't think to give spam in this way, am I wrong? :/
if you think that even in this way is annoying this is my last gleam.io giveaway xD
