The "join giveaway" button was secretly replaced by a "join blacklist" function as a late april fools prank.

It's almost certainly because of those Professor Watts "games" you gave away. Those are the worst type of "games" on Steam at the moment, and you gave away a bunch of them. So a few people blacklisted you because those games make them angry, and a few people blacklisted you because it's easier than hiding all of the games, and a few people blacklisted you for both reasons.

EDIT because I forgot to point out something:

Blacklist =/= hate

Just because someone blacklists you does not mean that they hate you as a person, it just means they don't want to give away their games to you.

I think the idea that blacklisting = hating is what causes some people to be so emotional about blacklists, but it's really not that big of a deal.

People will blacklist you for whatever reason... Or maybe you just upset people...People like to hate everyone for "x" reasons here..but is harder to get in people whitelists... :D. Just don't think about it.

The internet is a wonderful, and shallow place,
"look at me, im funny" says the internet race.

Sometimes it's nice to see a bread headed cat,
copious amounts of chips and pop, omg i'm too fat.

A place where communities gather and laugh,
"It's a potato you idiot! Not a giraffe!"

Confusion and disaster constantly erupt,
It's that darn Donald Trump, he's so stupidly corrupt.

Steamgifts is fun, but also confusing,
People will blacklist for not being amusing.

They also blacklist for giving away trash,
and then come back to kick you in the ash.

But sometimes they're nice, and give you some cake,
and then we realize that we're all really fake.
