I know the feeling of not being able to sleep on a plane.
Even got an upgrade once to business class so you can basically fold your seat out into a bed... and still couldn't sleep...
must say I don't miss airplane food ;)

No ginger in that matcha! Also that wasn't supplied on the plane :P

Day 1
Not much to show because I was on a plane the entire day to Shanghai. I do have to say that I don't like 787s too much. Instead of having pull down window shades, this airplane has some kind of dimmer built into the window. Unfortunately it never gets dark enough to completely block out the light, and it's annoying, especially when you are sitting next to the wing, where the bright wing tip light shines right in your face.
On a positive note, the plane was pretty empty and I had the entire row of 3 seats to myself. On a negative note, I can never fall asleep on an airplane, even when lying down across the 3 seats :P
Meal was okay - I mean not much you can expect from airplane food. Sorbet for dessert, with the smallest, weakest "spoon" known to man inside. And a midnight snack
