flatout and flaout 2 UC, sega allstars racing, burnout paradise, gas guzzlers extreme, nfs hot pursuit and i would totaly say blur, but unfortunately its not avaailable on steam anymore.

So you want an arcade racer? Get GRID 1, best arcade racer on PC. Or DTM Race Driver 3 (Toca Race Driver 3 it might be called elsewhere).

Dirt 2. Hopefully you have a gamepad by the way

Screamer and POD Gold from GOG. Outrun 2006: Coast 2 Coast from other places if you don't mind that. Not sure of legal places unfortunately, though maybe a physical copy could be located.

Oh ya and the Flatout series, though Flatout Ultimate Carnage is better then the rest. Many friends complained that Fladout 3 is filled with bugs that have not been fixed.

Grid 2, burnout paradise and dirt 3 are pretty fun arcade racers.

Test Drive Unlimited (1&2). although they are oriented to MP and not a lot of players play right now. I spend some great afternoons just driving around Ibiza and Oahu.

Cannot recommend Burnout Paradise enough, that is one incredible game

And it isn't necessarily a racing game, though a lot of the missions are races, but Driver San Francisco is really good too

If You want arcade racing game then Grid 1 is perfect for You.
If YOu don't have money You can try out Racer.
Also noone mentioned about Life for Speed, which is one the best racing games on PC.

The F1 games and the Trackmania games.

Grid 2 if you want a cheap(very cheap on steamtrades) casual arcade-style modern racing game with nice graphics.

The best racing game you will see for steam is burnout paradise city.

The best driving game on steam is trackmania without a doubt, also the best game to spend time in, it's so damn fun and challenging!

I do have both and beat the first one, got the entire collection so far of the 2nd and i tell you it's worth the money.
