This looks like a nice game:
Terraforming Earth

it's a pretty good trine/lost vikings-like, though random generation can produce some nasty levels and there are other annoyances as well, as noted on the store page. not a fan of them doubling the price a while ago, apparently so they can do seemingly bigger discounts, but maybe with this actually lower price they'll get more players. would've picked it as deal of the week for the puzzle newsletter I'm doing, but it's missing the puzzle tag, so it didn't show up among new historical lows. oh well.

I wondered about the high price tag, too. But on the other hand: If the actual price is a good price, then it's ok. :)

And even if it would be 80% off if it would be half the base price, it's an HL.

that's how shitty mobile devs (not these guys) get away with things. $25 game at -90% a few months after release looks better than a $5 game half off, even though it's the same price and the same game as on mobile for the same amount. but hey, it's $25, must be good, and it's -90%, must be a good deal...

and some have the audacity to advertise their new 'highest discount' after a silent price hike, even if the current bigger discount percentage doesn't match the previous lowest price, let alone make it a new low. and people usually eat it up, of course.

Yes, I know, I worked in the sales branch. :) Not for (mobile) games, but unrealistic prices are a thing in other branches as well. :)

Everything's abou psychology, that's all.

I can't decide what is more absurd, the base price or the title...

Definitely the price. :) The title, if you look hard enough, actually makes some sense; the idea seems to be that Earth is not fit to sustain human life anymore and needs to be modified, so humans living on some other place send the robots to do it.

Yeah, I've read what the game is about but let me ask you that: if you undergo a terrible accident and have third degree burns all over your skin and the doctors do their best to save you... are you being humanformed? ;-)

I... honestly don't know. Interesting point, actually.

But... also a super funny point; I had a good lol. :D

There's a difference between both cases: If you have such an accident, the doctors try to reconstruct you, especially your skin in this case.

Terraforming means to form a planet to be suitable for life - you form it. But it doesn't look like the actual earth.

They seem to have doubled the price some time ago.

Doesn't look like it had many final sales.
Very niche game and over ambitious full price.

For 2,49€ I may buy it, though something tells me we will see this in a bundle.

I guess that will happen a lot, maybe by mid year around Summer Sale.
The devs will start looking at their sales, and after increasing prices (in some cases and in some countries with completely pornographic prices!!!) and ppl not buying as much as before (and with the economical situations now in many countries also giving a hand...) they will come around and start doing 80+% discounts much more often!!!
One can hope... let´s see
