S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl, is it worth the 20$?

Few games are worth full price. Never buy a game full price unless you know what you're doing. If you have to ask, you don't.

It's a very good, yet old game, i wouldn't consider paying 20$ for it, not now, 5 years after release, wait for some kind of sale, it will be worth it.

Well, i never managed to launch the steam version due to crappy DRM... Had to download an illegal copy to play. Pretty good game.

i've been told is good, if you are concerned for the cash try to find/wait a deal, i grabbed it at 2usd$ when on deal once but haven't got to play it yet

STALKER SoC is the only game that i'd buy at FULL PRICE.

Its great game and all but id say you wait. No need to waste money if the game isnt really your first priority.

I bought it for 3€ on a steam sale, and I've seen it on sale many times. Is worth it but you should wait.

only one game of the STALKER series for 20$ is too expensive in my opinion.

Pretty sure you can get it with a few tf2 refined metal , it was in a bundle .

It would be best to wait for the summer sale or get it from trading, since the games has been bundled several times

I have all Stalker series and they're awesome ;) But you should wait for summer sale ;)

You may wait for some kind of promotion but in short - yes, it is worth buying =) The atmosphere in SOC is much more dense and compelling =)
