Sure, trying to fake being a girl to beg for stuff is an absolute low, but just having girls they like on their avatars is their own preference. Not everyone has to have themselves (or something their associate with) on their avatar...

some guy added me on steam the other day to beg me for games. when i begged him for games he said that i should give him games because i had more than him. realizing how i did indeed have more games than him it was absolutely my obligation to give him something, i promptly discharged my duty by giving him my personal version of the ban hammer. thank you steam for that ability.
