PSA: Nemesis 5 Bundle Fall of the Dungeon - Activation ends 9th March!

Received an email from Fanatical that
The Fall of the Dungeon Guardians - Enhanced Edition from the Nemesis Bundle 5 has an activation deadline of 9th March!

"This key has an activation deadline.
You must redeem via Steam before Friday, March 9th 2018 at 23:59 (PST)"

A heads up in case you didn't receive this mail!

Pretty sure it just means that they remove it from your account as viewable but doesn't actually have a deadline to activate it as long as you save it to something like notepad.

As far as I remember Fanatical never did that with my keys.
That would be weird anyway, why would they do that?

My guess is that the dev doesn't want the game sitting around for a dollar on G2A forever, so they're invalidating all the unused keys after that point.

Valve actually has an option for it when you revoke a batch of keys. You can either expire them, but let current owners keep it, or you can revoke all of them and everyone loses it.

Maybe. The law tends not to be very customer-friendly where digital goods are concerned, but if you bought it before the notice was given and then they changed the terms, it might fall under some bait and switch laws.

Based on how I've been seeing giveaways with that March 9th notice for a while, though, I assume the warning was there from the beginning.
