Try not to worry about it too much, unless you're getting blacklisted a lot more than you're getting whitelisted. Some people have really petty reasons and will blacklist people for seemingly nothing. I got a couple recently, and I have absolutely no clue why. I didn't get into an argument, forget to thank anyone for a win, etc. I give away crap-tons of games. But, somebody decided that they didn't like me, so whatever. Good news is that I get whitelisted at roughly 10X the speed that I get blacklisted, so I figure the people doing the blacklisting are just bitter little trolls or something. lol
Long story short, unless you're participating in some kind of behavior that is getting you consistently blacklisted, then you shouldn't worry too much.
If you really want to dig into it, the ESGST script that almost all of the regulars around here run will let you examine long lists of people at a time to see if they've whitelisted or blacklisted you. It will take some time to run if you're checking a lot of users, but just go have a coffee and come back, and you'll see if any of the people on that page you're checking have done either of those things.

What's extra funny is that since I said something in this thread (mostly about people's petty qualities), I got an extra three blacklists. I find these kind of shallow people actually funny. I find that kind of quiet blacklisting cowardly, and if those kind of people want to blacklist me, fine. I haven't even been here a year yet, and I have almost 1400 GAs under my belt. They're just shooting themselves in the foot since blacklists are automatically 2-way. They won't have access to my GAs.
I don't add people to my blacklist unless they do something pretty crappy. Usually, this involves being mean or overtly racist or something else pretty bad in the forums. I think that my blacklist has a total of 4-5 people on it. Busy blacklisters are confusing to me...but hey, it's their bad karma, not mine.
Know that you'll get blacklisted quietly by some people for having an opinion. <shrug> Some people don't deal well with a difference of opinion, and the blacklist is the only way some people feel power or in control. It's sad, but that's just how some people roll.

I don't know how worth it it is to worry about! I use ESGST to remove the blacklist alltogether from my stats page - I got enough shit in my life that, you know what? Doesn't bring me any joy to know.
Just worry about your whitelist, and acting in ways that would make your friends proud.

there are people who blacklists people who have won games from them (... sorry for the convoluted sentence XD), so, there are really a million reasons why. If you don't think you've done something wrong you want to solve, then don't worry <3

Banned or blacklisted? Title and content are mismatched.
I'll assume "blacklisted" - there is no way to know for sure if a user blacklisted you unless you try viewing one of their giveaway, after which you will see the error attached below.

Blacklisting seems more chilled than when mutual blacklists were introduced, watching your blacklists fall that day was funny.
If you care enough click on someones name then try and view a public GA they made and it'll say if they have BL you.

i would say the main reasons for being blacklisted are:
1) making threads about blacklisting
2) not saying thanks after winning xD
3) posting dumb stuff, like clues to puzzles, codes
4) winning without passing through sgtools
5) making giveaways for free games (wasn't allowed until recently)
6) state your opinion

Personally, I don't know and don't want to know. Persons who blacklist have a lack of something in their heads. So why should I pay my precious attention on misfits?

It give a lot that can't accept other opinions.
But they don't understand that they can have a other opinion and nothing is wrong or bad with it. They don't need to change there opinion(s). A few (or lot) have problems to see this difference^^
I think a big part are young, the others maybe have not learned such a behavior at there home and society and the rest are reallife loosers that can't handle anything then there own "world" (there opinion, there thinkings and so on are always right and nobody can say anything against it^^).
Try not to think too much over it and them. I done this at the beginning but it leads you nowhere and are only wasted lifetime.
Think the way that you live your life for YOU and not for others. So it must fits for YOU and not others.
(and i say myself "when you got a lot of attention there lifes must be very boring^^")

And yes i got for jokes, sarcasm and irony BL too. A lot don't understand "jokes" if they don't know you and only read your words and can't see and hear you. So i mostly try to avoid making my really dark humor jokes :D
