Did they manage to make the side and rearview mirrors actually reflect properly? I thought it was funny they weren't able to when it first came out. Made me think it wasn't a quality game if they couldn't even be bothered to make the mirrors work.

The game will be free from Sep 14 to Oct 11. Just grab a free copy in that period and you get to keep it. If you were talking about the exact time they release the game on the 14th, I don't know.

So it's like saying: "We give you the game along with its patches!"
Amazing considering the fact they could have said: "The game is free but it's version 1.0, full of bugs, and you have to buy the game to get a proper version."

I think they have patched game quite a lot, including new rendering.
So it does make sense to give best version, so you'd be more likely to buy DLC.
Which is also why giving away DLC doesn't make sense, so they still have something to sell. Since last DLC isn't even out.
This is newest game so far. Other games are so old they don't really have any value anymore.
Only other newer possibilty that makes sense is Watch_Dogs since it's getting sequel this year (or next, dunno).

They already did give Rayman Origins away last month so i doubt they will also give away Legends. More likey is an older Assassin's Creed or Rainbow Six game imo. BG&E could also be possible (it's also on sale for 1.25 € atm).
Getting the Crew for free is certainly nice tough.
