Easier to spot since steam orders by alphabetical order

Either I don't know where it is or it aint default. Because I've tried moving one installed game to the uninstalled backlog and it is still alphabetical

In my client under the Library menu there are the default filters Recent, which seem to be almost all my games, Installed about half of my games and Favorites consisting of 23 games. If I toggle the Installed menu item my client alternates between showing all my games and only the ones that are installed.
Just to be clear, I'm not saying it's something wrong with the way you're organizing your library was just curious because, to me, your distinction and manual sorting doesn't seem to be worth the effort :)

Oh, I see what you mean. Wasn't aware of that, thanks =)

I use something like that to, but i also sort the ones i already played and uninstalled between Good, neutral and bad.
So i never install a bad game again.
The nerver playing i use for the ones i dont even want to play not the ones i already played and was bad.

Action Hack & Slash perhaps, as for Timberman you can put as Indie (Action Indie)

I start at 3 games. I can deal with 2, I can't with 3 or more. That's silly, but hey.

I use something like this:
Helps to decide depending on my mood or the time I have in that moment.

I love how many people list a category for crap. I hide those from my library.
You should probably start with broad categories like RPG, to break it into manageable chunks. If a category gets too big, then break it up
But if you must, stealth my fhphone be a good category for you

Games can be set to have several categories. My library looks almost the same (Games like Deponia and Monkey Island are set as "Point'n'click") and some games addittionally appear at "Favourites" where I temporarily add games I work on for achievements as well.

Hey guys, as my library is getting bigger and bigger I've finally decided to start sorting it, and I might use a hint or two, especially when it comes to categories. For now, my layout is following:
Action / Adventure (Dead Space, Prince of Persia, Tomb Raider, etc.)
Adventure (Broken Sword, Deponia, The Walking Dead, etc.)
Clickers (Clicker Heroes, AdVenture Capitalist, etc.)
Moba (Dota 2, etc.)
Platformer (Bit.Trip., Limbo, Mark of the Ninja, Shank, etc.)
Puzzle (Lucid, World of Goo, etc.)
Racing (Grid, Dirt, etc.)
Rogue-Like (Isaac, Spelunky, etc.)
RPG (Borderlands, Dark Souls, Deus Ex, Fallout, etc.)
RPG Action (Bastion, Transistor, Costume Quest, etc.)
RPG Hack & Slash (Titan Quest, Torchlight, etc.)
RPG MMO (Rift, etc.)
Shoot'em up (Jamestown, Sine Mora, etc.)
Shooter FPS (Bioshock, CoD, etc.)
Shooter 3rd (Spec Ops, Space Marine, etc.)
Strategy Real-time (Age of Empires, Warhammer 40K, etc.)
Strategy Tower-Defense (Dungeon Defenders, Orcs Must Die, Defense Grid, etc.)
Strategy Turn-Base (Invisible, Civ V, XCOM, etc.)
X - Never to bother with
I don't think it's enough, I feel like I'm missing something. I'm not sure where to put games like War of the Roses or Timberman.
What's your system?
