I do the same Khalaq for my own Steam account and that several times a month but I cleaned out the scammers and cheaters in my friends list some time ago after I began to use Steamrep. :-)
Steamrep is a handy tool especially in combination with Enhanced Steam where you have the quick link on the Steam profile.
It would be nice if those on my friends list would clean out their accounts but in the end it's their Steam account and their responsibility.
What's also similar is when talking to Steam friends is that some are unaware about Steamrep and/or that they have know scammers on their friends list.

I actually looked up the Janitor's girlfriend because I was sure as well that she is his partner. Then the scene clicked when she, Ted, Kelso and Cox stuck in the elevator and they start to sing + ukulele a song about the states and Cox escapes from the elevator just he doesn't have to listen to it further :D

I'm not sure where I saw / heard it but I recently watched / read something that made me notice a small inaccuracy in that scatch:
Elevator emergency exits can't be opened from the inside since they are not intended for passengers to get out but rather for rescue crews to get in.
I know it's not in the slightest bit relevant for this scatch but just a random thought :D

For the most part I don't deny friend requests and don't "clean" my friends list (if I did I might accidentally remove someone important who changed their nickname or something and I don't wanna do that :'( ), so I'd assume there are at least some shady people there who I've probably spoken with once and then forgotten about entirely.
Looking at SteamRep I can identify at least 1 super shady person but... eh... I can't be arsed to deal with them. I guess I'm just not social enough to care if my profile appears to others as completely squeaky clean by not having any shady people on the friends list. XD

I don't see the point of this. I don't add random persons I don't know, just those that I do know. Scammer or not, I know them, play games with them, and have likely been friends with them for years. If there is one on my friends list, I wouldn't care. I don't care how a website of strangers categorizes /my/ friends, personally.

the one banned user on my list is actually one of the friendliest steam users i know.. they don't deny their account was indeed used in scams, but it was during a period they had their account hijacked so since it was a valid scam with his account it will never go away since it cant be proven that it was hijacked. they never tried anything funny with me though, unless you consider being overly friendly "funny". ^^
edit: oh as far as everyone asking why people collect people idk really why people randomly add people at all, but i just kept everyone that i've ever traded with in the past or was auto added from a steam gift exchange. they can come in handy to get a general idea of how owned a game is without looking deep into it (glance at how many steam friends own a game compared to another).

My friends list needs a good cleaning, now and then, since I am regularly adding and removing people from it. One thing I use to help me do this is SteamRep. Not that any of the people on my list are scammers, but some of the people I see on their lists are. When I notice something unusual, I usually mention it to my friend, and it is often the case that he or she was unaware.
