So im thinking about getting CoD4...

Im not sure how often it goes on sale (im pretty sure it barely does, if at all)so i just want your guys opinion on whether or not i should wait for it to go on sale (perhaps during the easter sale?), or just buy it now?

When it goes on a Sale...buy it...CoD4 is the best of the "New" Series...got self cod4 retail/black ops steam and mw3 steam...and cod4 rulez^^...when you like such games(im more the battlefield type of player^^)...

I would not pay the official activision price at steam...way to high for such an old game...

yeah, i dont really feel like paying activision the full price for the game, which is why i asked.... ill probably just wait til it goes on sale, i have a ton of other games that i need to complete on steam anyway lol

Oh that's true haha, it was a "rail-shooter" mission, but in mutliplayer the only game with vehicles is CoD 1 UO

No it was not...you did drive a "real" tank like at battlefield...when im right you can destroy trees when you drive over them...

What you mean are the jeep scenes(dont know if cod1 or 2^^or in both?)...

It seems like Steam's been adding a new sale every year, with the Summer Sale being introduced last year and the Christmas sale the year before (i think), so i wouldnt be suprised if they added a new sale for this easter where it'd probably be as big as the Autumn sale

Get CoD4. There are still lots of players online too. I bought it in a store but I'm gonna buy it on Steam too because I can't activate this copy in Steam. Definitely one of the best games in CoD series. Oh, and don't buy it anywhere else but Steam itself because Steam doesn't support CoD4 codes in that game activation where you just enter game keys. They took it out for CoD4 for some reason that I don't know. If you don't wanna pay full price wait until sale but I haven't seen it on a sale for some time now. Mostly all the new and most popular games are on sales. But yeah - I'm gonna buy one too when I have some more money I can spend.

I only play the single player portion of the CoD games, so from that angle...well, it was fine, really. The shooting mechanics all work and the story didn't make me hemorrhage, but I didn't feel like I was playing something MEGA SPECIAL.

Black Ops is still my favorite in the CoD "modern" series. Good ol' Call of Duty 2, before we were so sick of WWII shooters...
