Own less than 50 games? - Terraria Giveaway

This is a private giveaway for those of you in the forum that qualify and would like to win Terraria. However this differs from typical forum giveaways so please make sure you understand the requirements before entering, thanks.

In order to be eligible I ask that you have no more than 50 games in your Steam account. This is not the number shown on your profile or in your library, it is the number of base games which inconveniently are not listed. The problem with simply using the profile/library figure is they list games, demo's, betas, FTP, tools and editors and so on. These will vary wildly and may disqualify many people unfairly.

The purpose of this GA is for those without the means to buy many games the chance of winning a neat little gem, for that reason I don't mind if you are a few games over 50. You won't be excluded because you played CrimeCraft GangWars in 2011 for a piece of coal or you just won Secret of the Magic Crystals.

In short, as long as you don't have hundreds of games already and aren't a dick you may join.

Hopefully people will understand the reason why and respect that. I don't want to have to bother SG support with requests for rerolls or because of arguments over the winner, it's supposed to be a bit of fun. If things go well with this giveaway I hope to make more, you might find one more suited to your tastes :)

It is a little long however I wasn't sure how things would play out and wanted to catch all time zones, was hoping for a bump so those that missed it last night would have a chance ;)

Oh, I was talking about Starbound lol. It's good you let people from the diff time zones enter. I was also just trying to rebump so the rest of the world could see it.

I love the idea but did you get mod approval beforehand? Otherwise everyone will enter and you won't be able to reroll. This same thing happened to a few of my giveaways that I just ended up deleting.

Hi Delorian, thanks for the warning, I've received advice and permission from a SG moderator. I'm hoping that it won't be problematic and people can accept the intentions here. I don't want hair pulling, nashing teeth and SG support flooded with death threats over what is supposed to friendly giveaway.

If that's so, edit your OP with MOD APPROVED (maybe a screenshot of the ticket, etc) in big letters so all the herp derps can see it :P

I just went to confirm my profile and through the browser, in my profile, it appears i have 68 games. But when i'm gonna check i only have, and rightfully so, way less than that (and some that appear are from betas like you said or simple mmo/f2p i played just to try it).

I already have Terraria and I just want to thank you, its a great idea.
In some countries the people cant use credit cards and dont have a way to buy Steam games, so this is a excellent opportunity for them =)

There are a few reasons why someone may not have a credit card. Steam does accept paypal though so most people should be able to use that instead.
