Easy, "Easy", and Probability cleared.
The only other one I stand a chance at is Knowledge, and I'm 90% done. That first question though... I feel like I know so damn much about Fermat now, but I haven't figured out what this question is looking for. lol

I ended up just putting it on pause. Maybe the hints will help. I've tried locations both proper and generic... I've tried the three or four various mediums he wrote in that I could find. I've watched YouTube videos, read articles, and exhausted myself on Google. XD

There actually is a hint for that question :p along with a few others...I haven't put hints on all of them however so if any pop out as being too hard feel free to ask for hints for said specific question

I look forward to seeing it.
By the way, you guys did an excellent job with these. They've been quite challenging and fun.

Biggest point for me was trying to represent different types of math >_<
+1 for ylil being here to do the probability one so I didn't have to touch it.
forgot to make a poll on which type people liked the best but ah well
Also didn't trust myself to deal with harder types of math. I haven't learned linear algebra for example but its also an upper year uni course for only a few types of programs so like I don't want to alienate 99% of people doing this...

So, the hint narrowed down my answer. I KNOW the answer. I just don't know what format the answer needs to be put in. I keep trying to brute force different combinations of words...
Oh, and then I finally got it. Wow. I spent a lot of time being way too specific... and sometimes using extra words. The biggest hangup? I kept using the singular form of the word rather than the plural... And, technically, the singular is more accurate, but... meh.

The only one I can't do is calculus Q2. It's been 14 years since I have done "true math." All my knowledge is lost to the sands of time. Can anyone out there point me to an online lesson on solving this sort of differential equation?

well seeing as how no one has answered you today I might as well ~
maybe I should have done more than just providing a hint- anyone who wants to do math should be pointed in the right direction and all that.
normally I like watching khan acadamy but the EDE videos are kinda low quality and hardish to follow...not something I feel like reccomending.
first youtube result walks you through the steps however https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bwASJWS8ltM and gives a pretty good explanation in ~5 min

Thanks, that was very helpful. I don't think I ever learned EDEs in my DE course, but it was a long time ago, so I can't be sure. Either way, I wasn't going to recall or discover the method on my own, and I didn't know what to search for. Thanks again!

Hello and welcome one and all to the dual math event between bluelightning42 and ylil.EndedIn special maths spirits there is 31 total GA's hidden in this thread. (a prime number :P)
If any of the following are too hard blame ylil. (she's the sadistic one of the two of us) apologies in advance if your favorite genre of math is under-represented.
If we planned better this better we would correlate the GA's with some math related holiday like PI day but as it is they all end on the 30th at Midnight GMT.There was also GA's hidden in the ITH's decode using xlate gives I6dOM
simultaneous equations A < L < G < T < E
for Geometry 2 the rounded integer values gives a = 73, b = 54, c = 100, d = 79, e = 77
