And it won't be. Some people blacklist the winners of their giveaways, so they only give 1 game to everyone. Some people blacklist because you said something in a thread; and some add you because you didn't say something... Just live with it.

Sometimes if you win a game the winner will add you to his blacklist. Also complaining about blacklists tends to get you blacklisted.
Holding opinions that are slightly different than others can get you blacklisted too.

I got blacklisted from someone that won 3 games from me. And i never entered his Ga's because they were made for higher levels as i had at that time.
So both is possible :-D

Actually, yes. This has happened to me. A winner of a group GA started hounding me for the key within a few hours of the GA ending. They were not actually eligible for the GA based on group rules, so I informed him I would need to check with a group mod before sending. Mod OK'd the win, so I sent the key. User redeemed it and immediately blacklisted me - all of this was within 24 hours of the GA ending. 🤷♂️

I was like you at first and then I stopped caring about the why.
It's almost part of the SG culture now. People do that and I'm not sure they even know why themselves.

I think it's quite normal for people to wonder why they got blacklisted and to some extent, to be a bit unnerved by that when it first happens. I remember that my first ever BL gave me a slight WTF moment.

I would guess that someone saw your giveaway for Control Ultimate Edition, read the description where you say that it is the standard edition, and blacklisted you because they think you selected the ultimate edition to get more CV. They don't know that the standard is actually called ultimate on Steam and you selected the correct version. SG actually removed the real ultimate edition so people can't mistakenly create giveaways for it.

Ignore it, at least as long, as a person blacklisting you is not informing you of the reason for the incoming blacklist. It's like you were taking it personally, if your house was 1 our of 10 on your street in front of which some kiddo has written in chalk: "Idiot lives here". And, yes, I'm quite sure, that those 7 additional blacklists are coming from just creating a thread about being blacklisted, no matter what you have said here. It's just so easy to push this small button and feel like a king ;)

If you started with 1 blacklist when you made this thread, expect many many more. Some people blacklist people for making "blacklist complaint" threads.
I would try not to let it bother you. I have several blacklists and while I know why I got a few of them (and don't care) most just happen for whatever silly reasons that I'll never know lol.
The bright side is that if they blacklist you, they can't enter your giveaways either. ;)
